I would of respected her running specials to fund emergency such and such instead of wanting hand outs and btw, you're paying regular price because it's a myth to discount sessions. That's my personal opinion on the matter.

I cannot speak for all providers, but I know for myself, I don't ask for help or am never able to not make mortgage or my car note. I was simply speaking from my own experience.
Even if with a buy one get one free or half off of my normal rate, it never made often ANY change in the amount of clientele. What I noticed is if I do not run specials that I actually received more inquiries and appointments.
Trust me, I understand the logic that is coming from you, but too many times when I 1st started, Id run $100++ off of my then lower rate, and got CRICKETS.
I could run an experiment and knock off $50-$100 and monitor the inquiry increase for you, but I BET my phone won't ring any more than it does now...

As far as the women always broke a charging hundreds of dollars they are obviously just not managing their money well, or have unexpected trouble as we all do in life. That's why its imperative to SAVE.
