I don't think there is a conspiracy, CBJ7. I never said there was, so I don't know why I have to prove there isn't one. I think Rush was engaging in parody, but I don't know. That is just an opinion, and I really don't care what Rush thinks anyway.
The Democrat strategists quoted in the article I posted sounded more like opportunists, seeking to take advantage of a serendipitous villain in a popular movie. If they do, it will be funny, as I alluded to in my post. It's not serious. It was never a conspiracy to release the Batman movie to destroy Romney before the election, and I have no doubt that the character "Bane" was invented even before "Bain Capital" was organized.
If Romney can't overcome a comic book villain, then he probably shouldn't be President. Actually, I don't care. It was FUNNY!
You guys really need to get a sense of humor around here. Geez!

Im pretty sure Rush was playing to his audience because he understands the mentality of his listeners and how capable he is of tripping their traps

If you read the rant, you'd see it was parody. I read it, and that is clear to even the most ignorant listener. (Wow! Someone is going to pick that up and slam me. LOL!) Whether you agree with it, or not, is another matter. But it was clearly parody.

Nothing like a parody from Rush. Number one, I don't believe it. Number two, the dildoheads do.

It was a parody. You're not supposed to believe it. I suppose there are some ignorant people out there who believed him, both supporters of his, and opponents. It was actually a pretty good parody, but I didn't hear it, only read it.

Nope not parody. It was an extremely poorly worded attempt to predict what democrats may do. The man is so egotistical that he believes that he can predict what everyone might try to do. You have to wonder if this would have even been an issue if he had kept his trap shut in the first place.
That said he did not try to claim a conspiracy. He was asking rhetorical questions in an attempt to make a point that some may try force an association between Bane and Bain capital.

Did you read my post, Assup? I said I didn't hear it. I rarely listen to Rush. But while it reads like a parody, I don't know what inflections or tone he used.
Actually, I don't care, either. Think what you want about Rush. Makes no nevermind to me.

Doesn't parody require it to be at least mildly funny?

Love watching you guys trying to defend Rush Limbaugh's comments as "not what he meant" while at the same time spending almost 100 posts trying to convince us that Obama thinks people who built a business from the ground up didn't build a business from the ground up.
Now that's parody.
