The original Jake's is still operating. It is located at the corner of Skillman and Abrams......

I don't care for their burgers; but they make a signature "Flaming Rooster" that is awesome.....grilled chicken with spicy pico de gico on toasted burger bun with yellow mustard. And their tater tots are good.

Ok, screw every place mentioned so far! I am a fat ass and therefore I am an authority on this topic. For one of the best burgers you'll ever have, go to DFW Airport Marriott South to the RC Grille. It will change your life!

Little history lesson...

The Koffee Kup used to be the Koffee Kup Kafe.. spelled that way because it was a meeting spot for the KKK. Not sure if it is still as active there now, but that used to be the local hotbed for the organization. Used to play them in basketball WAY back in the day.
