Screening is it really Necessary?

I rarely see a lady that does thourough screening - it's not worth my time. There's way too many lovely ladies that don't screen, for me to see.

The question I have, is how many of you guys screen the gals?
It is a two way street. How many times has a guy been caught with his pants down when the pimp strikes? How many times has LE used BP/CL or some other manner to lure hobbyist into their trap?

I hope all of the ladies screen. I know some of the ladies use alternate screening methods, for instance, the types of posts a guy makes, perhaps demeanor in chat, multiple reviews of the same lady that shows she has seen him more than once, etc.

I rarely provide references, ok, haven't provided references since 2005. But I know I am being screened in most cases.

Screening is a matter of safety for all of us. If a lady gets busted, her client list, her phone records, and maybe even some DNA samples from the used condoms are available for LE's use. Even if they can't get a conviction, do you want a copy at your doorstep asking you, as your wife looks over your shoulder, "Now explain to me again why you made these 4 calls on July 7 to this known prostitute?"

Yes, screening is necessary. It's not fail-proof, of course, but it helps weed out many of the dangers that ladies face. There are a lot of men who prey on providers so I can only imagine how nerve-racking it must be when a total stranger knocks on the door for a first-time appointment. It's only commonsense that ladies would try to get as comfortable as possible with a guy before opening the door and putting herself in an extremely vulnerable position.

Yes, it sucks when you get a spur of the moment urge that can't be met because it takes time for a lady to verify you, but weighed against a lady's safety, staying home and jerking off to porn is a small price to pay.

Fortunately, services like P411 and the referal system make screening pretty painless for the gentlemen.

+1 to screening. But I've given up on P411. It's not the $$$, I just can't access it at work anymore, so... Nonetheless, I've found it easy to be screened, and I absolutely do not mind a provider asking me for a couple of references. My safety too!

I much prefer to see providers who screen. It's pretty much painless with p411. Hopefully, she'll be more comfortable with me after screening, which means a better session for everyone. And, there's something I find sexy about a woman who knows how to take care of herself and her business. I'm always disappointed if I give a provider my p411 id and see that she didn't check my profile before we met (happens a fair amount).

Good point, tigercat, I never see a girl that isn't "screened"--i.e., I have to either see a reputable review on her, verify her status with someone like P411, or know someone who has seen her.

Happens more than just a fair amount! I'm getting to the point that I won't finalize an appointment until she has viewed my profile. I am looking for certain things in-session that I detail on my profile and it's important (to me) that she understands and agrees before finalizing a meeting. If I'm going to spend the money and go through the verification process, I'm going to use P411 to its potential.

Ladies, it is very easy for us to see if you have or have not viewed our profiles.

That's a very good point, CC. It would be great if the providers would use profile info, not only to accept us as clients, but to ensure that we are both on the same page as far as expectations.

Wait, they screen, but then don't screen? Why would they ask for, but not look at, your P411 profile? Makes no sense. I always check out the P411 profile. And I love when you gents take the time to write something that really tells us what you like. I've even declined appointments because what he had written just didn't sound like my kind of thing. The honesty seems to be appreciated most of the time.

Someone explain the screening but not screening thing to me.... I don't get it.

I suspect lots of providers use p411 more for advertising than for screening. So, they're on p411, but basically they don't bother with screening and anyone who contacts them can get an appointment. I just so happen to contact them through p411 and give them my id.

For others, I've initially contacted them through p411. So, they know that I'm on p411 and I think the email automatically includes the number of OKs I have. I guess that's good enough for many and they don't really care what my profile says about me or who I've received my OKs from.

Shack, I think you right on the money. I read all these posts about screening/references, etc; so I cough up the cash and work to build my P411 resume and now, lately, getting a provider to actually look at my profile is quite a challenge in some cases. I am detailed with what I'm looking for in a session and even say that if you are unable/unwilling to provide that just let me know right up front; no harm, no foul. If shes unwilling to look at it and know what to expect, I would prefer not to meet her.

I would love to hear some more of the ladies opinion on this matter but I suspect we will only hear from the ones that do use the system as intended.

Happens ALL the time Traci. In many instances I have emailed the lady a couple times to ask if she gas looked at my profile yet. What really gets me is I can see that she has logged into the system but still has not gone to the effort to click on my request and view the damn profile.
