My fav and I went civie, and saw it last weekend.
It's a must see. One of the better scare movies in a long time.

I have not seen the movie. I read a synopsis and a few reviews because a relative wants to see it but I have not yet decided if I will attend.

SPOILER: It is a bunch of self-loathing white people who decide to kidnap black youths because no one will miss them. (As in black lives don't matter like they should.)
The self-loathing whites have a procedure that allows them to transfer the conciousness to the superior bodies of young black people.
The hero will be the next intended victim unless he can get out of the rich neighborhood.

The major role reversal can be seen as the black hero is forced to fight off a crazed white girl. He begins to strangle her until the flashing lights of a Patrol car appear. The girl sees the lights as that which will save her. No cop will believe the hero's body snatching story. They probably won't hear it anyway because white cops usually shoot black men on site, especially if they had their hands on a pretty young white girl. But it's not the cops. It's our hero's friend who works for TSA.

Our hero escapes whitey, whom he never shoulda trusted anyway.

White audience members are officially "woke".

I finally saw it! and it is so amazing and has such a good message behind it. I usually don't watch that genre of movie(s) but everyone around me kept telling me about it, and I was not disappointed!

I saw in a recent article how the Jordan Peele wanted the original ending to be that the when the cop car pulled up that it was actually the police and then the main character would go to prison but after recent events in the world, he decided that the main character deserved a happy ending.
