As a conservative , it should not matter to you. Real conservative live their life and let others live theirs. That means if two girls want to have the state bestow the same benifits that it bestows a man and a woman , so be it. True conservatives believe in equality, just like a true liberal does. Raising taxes is revenue enhancement.
Increasing spending by ten percent instead eleven percent is cutting spending.

Since Clinton ran his mouth so much it is entirely possible that he referred to spending as an investment but I am certain (and I heard commentators bringing it up) that he also referred to our taxes as our investment in the economy.
