The major problem with that bogus little theory, zany, is that every major society in the 15th and 16th centuries utilized slave labor; including those in Africa. So, zany, how can less than 2% of the African slave trade coming to what would become these United States give these United States a leg-up on any and every other society of that period utilizing slave labor? 'Splain that little hole in your theory, zany.
Sure my friend because explaining to you is like talking to a 2nd grader. I don't know the percentages and I certainly don't trust a word you say as I honestly consider you to be autistic in all sincerity. In all sincerity. However, perhaps it had everything to do with coming to a basically untapped resource in "America" and creating a society on the backs on slave labor whereas others just needed to work out the nuisances of an existing structure. ;-)

Only a chick or a fag would use that smiley face at the end of their posts. Which is it?

Your defense of your bogus little theory is more than a little lame, zany. In fact, you've conceded it wasn't just "slaves" that made the United States the success story that it is, zany. You've just admitted there were factors other than "slaves" that made the United States the success story that it is, zany.

You've already delivered your concession speech on this issue, zany. You're free to tuck your tail between your legs and go, zany.

Anything you revealed (outed) about yourself in open forum, e.g., your boyfriends, your stupidity or your former handles, Stumpy the Inbred Chimp, is open for discussion.
I dont disagree. While I watched Obama giving his masterful SOTU speech I was filled with jealousy and rage. Should have been me up there as I'm just as smart and charismatic a slave. ;-)

That is the best thing ass wipe, when you get caught with you hand in the cookie jar blame someone else. You have always had a part of my old handle in your signature. Lately you and your butt boy have used it in it's entirety. You have posted many times about my boyfriends, but now that you have made a issue if the term "boy" you want to walk it back. Either put up or shut up dick breath.

Well you have one thing in common together. You both have Delusions of Grandeur.
I don't think America would exist without slavery. The slaves built this country and gave Americans the leg up it now enjoys today.
If that was true, then Haiti and the other islands of the Caribbean and many nations in Central and South America would be richer and more powerful than the United States, right?
And Canada - which had no slavery - would be the poorest, right?
Clearly there is a hole in your theory.
I've always thought that slavery held back the country greatly. A small number of white Southerners profited, but nearly everyone else suffered from it.
Black suffering was obvious. But most white Southerns had greatly reduced economic prospects - how do you compete with subsistence labor?
The South mired itself in a relatively poor agrarian economy with the rest of the country became much more industrialized and, therefore, wealthier.
I think the county would have been far wealthier in 186o if slavery had not existed and would have been MUCH MUCH wealthier in 1865 without the devastation of the Civil War.
Slavery was the opposite of "the greatest good for the greatest number". It provided concentrated benefits for a small class of landowners and damaged the entire rest of the economy around them.

As I said, your self assurance is amusing. I'm sure people get sick of being around you.

A quite excellent post. Although you are not my friend, I have to recognize you as a very intelligent poster. Please keep up the good work.
