It's class warfare, period. Obama is a socialist/Marxist to the core. It's just another excuse to pretend that the government is morally justified in taking from productive people and giving to the unproductive.
Richard Gephardt, former Democrat congressman from Missouri, used to say that the rich were the winners of life's lottery, implying that the only difference between the rich and the poor was luck.
The one thing liberal Democrats won't say, is that the vast majority of rich people worked damn hard to get rich, and deserve to keep the lion's share of what they earned. The socialist Democrats have to pretend that rich people either inherited the money, or stole it.
The socialist Democrats won't admit that the progressive income tax steals from workers and redistributes to parasites. It's hard to buy the parasite's vote, if you admit that all you're doing is stealing on his behalf. Instead of admitting the theft, the socialist Democrats tell the parasites that they are ENTITLED to social welfare benefits.
To say that someone is entitled to something, is to say that they own it. The socialist Democrats are, in effect, telling their constituants that they own the fruit of someone else's labor. The workers are becoming the slaves of the non-workers.

Funny you left that part out.

Obama's words speak for themselves Doove.
In any context you like, these words came out of his piehole, he said what he said

Some will be totally OK with them , some won't. I fall in the won't category. Again, Its a giant "Fuck You" from the President to a huge segment of the population, no matter what side of the political coin you are on.
What any small/medium business needs is a good relationship with their bank, and for the government to mostly keep out of their way. If you were a successful independent businessman, you would understand this, anyone would.
Bill Gates didn't build Microsoft?
Sam Walton didn't build WalMart?
Really?

Steve Jobs and Steven Wozniak started Apple Computer in a garage. Don't they realize someone else built that garage? Those ungrateful bastards! And what about all that fast food they ate, while they were working 100+ hour weeks. Those burgers didn't just fry themselves! Pay up you greedy pigs. The people demand economc justice.

Read what he actually said, now what you said he said. I own two successful businesses and I agree with every word.
There are a lot of wealthy, successful Americans who agree with me -- because they want to give something back. *They know they didn’t -- look, if you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own. *You didn’t get there on your own. *I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. *There are a lot of smart people out there. *It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. *Let me tell you something -- there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there. *(Applause.)
* * *If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. *There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. *Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. *Somebody invested in roads and bridges. *If you’ve got a business -- you didn’t build that. *Somebody else made that happen. *The Internet didn’t get invented on its own. *Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet?
* * *The point is, is that when we succeed, we succeed because of our individual initiative, but also because we do things together. *There are some things, just like fighting fires, we don’t do on our own. *I mean, imagine if everybody had their own fire service. *That would be a hard way to organize fighting fires.*

*Sarcasm on* No license fees. No permit fees. No transaction fees. No exchange fees. No taxes. Yeah, just look at all that shit the government let them do for free . . . and their parents didn't pay any of that shit either! *sarcasm off*

Not surprised you agree, TTH. There's no way you could have built those businesses on your own.

"Rich people did just fine. We created a bunch of Millionaires." The number of US millionaires declined: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/0...n_1559803.html
Marc Rich's wife and one of the FB founders renounced their US citizenship predominately to save on taxes.
You are a socialist and an anti-American bigot President Obama.

Walton - pretty much.
Gates - had a "little" bit of help from mommy.
The obituary of Mary Gates in The New York Times on 11 June 1994 was headlined "Mary Gates, 64; Helped Her Son Start Microsoft," and reported that, "She was ... appointed to the board of the United Way of America; in 1983, she became the first woman to lead it. Right Time, Right Place. Her tenure on the national board's executive committee is believed to have helped Microsoft, based in Seattle, at a crucial time. In 1980, she discussed with John Opel, a fellow committee member who was the chairman of the International Business Machines Corporation," her son's company. "Mr. Opel, by some accounts, mentioned Mrs. Gates to other I.B.M. executives. A few weeks later, I.B.M. took a chance by hiring Microsoft, then a small software firm, to develop an operating system for its first personal computer."

Not true. CP/M wanted $600 per machine license, MSFT (PCDOS) wanted $50. IBM went with the reliable low cost bidder. The real travesty is how Gates got the software.

Hmmm. So does the bank need government to mostly keep out of the their way also?
Like keep out of the way and leave me alone while I commit securities fraud, but print money whenever i say and loan me that money at 0% interest so I can buy govm't paper paying me 2%.
I wish the govm't would keep outta my way like that too.
