Wow... I can't believe you're serious... and you're doubling down on such a thigh-slapper!
Have you fully thought through the LOGIC of your assertion?
You're telling us Biden decided it would be BAD for the country if he stayed in the race.
So this means Biden was conceding that a) his first term was a disaster for the country, and b) a second term would be even worse, given his obvious dementia.
Ok, now I get it!
Let's all say "Thank you, Joe!" for recognizing he fucked up as POTUS and - being a true patriot - he now wants to spare the country from four more years of his chronic fuck-ups.
Time to QUIT... for the GOOD of the country!!

no sir. he knew he was going to lose, after his sorry af 1st debate, and, in order to save the country from Trump, he stood down. simple as that.

You're contradicting yourself.
If he did it to "save the country from Trump" then why did he also endorse Kamala - a move you likened to "giving a big fuck you" to Obama, Pelosi, and all the other DNC marionettists?
I'll answer the question for you... he did it because he knows Kamala can't win either!

Nope. he did it because he knew the clearest path to a Dem victory was Kamala. in a few weeks, he'll be proven correct. Gavin and Gretchen knew the same thing and were loyal Dem soldiers. they also put country before self.
Obama is a smart dude but he whiffed that one, bigly..
once he saw the writing on the wall, he came around and endorsed her. there were no hard feelings or bruised egos. he's an adult, unlike Trump..

I love this picture.
Old Joey definitely knows how to pull a joke with the material he is supplied with.
That is something you can't say about donny: he ain't got a sense of humour.
And I just don't get y'all maggies. Here you all squawk that joey is senile. So, he bows out for the bigger good (something that is a foreign concept to the right wingnuts) and now you are wanting him to come back?
Let me get this straight, you turn a blind eye to your own rants and are holding up a dementia laiden candidate for office on your part while screaming the other party should put down theirs because he is senile?
*pb shakes his head*

There is a famous line from "The Godfather", they "gave him an offer he couldn't refuse."

he stepped down because he put country before self, something Trump would never do in a million years. Trump was caught off guard because he can't even fathom someone putting anything before self. Trump gives zero fuks about anything other than himself. he'd throw-and i think he already did-America under the bus for a Trump Tower Moscow or Trump Tower Ankara in no time flat.

Stepped down? Please re=read my post above.
Back to the original topic: Every one in America today has a family member, or knows someone with a family member who has some form of cognative decline. One does not need a professional credential to, at ome point, observe that someone is having difficulty thinking or speaking their mind . . .and then observe that it has gotten worse.
Additionally, President Biden has at times presented extremely well in public, but at other times has failed abysmally. My speculation is that his care givers or medical team give him some combination of drugs that support or stimulate his behavior. The Stgate of the Union speech is often given as an example of "normal" behavior for the president.
Yet at other times he cam not finish a sentence. His ultra light schedule suggests that there is some recovery period needed. The frequent trips back to his Delaware home reinforces this guess, as does his hours and days slumped in a beach chair.
Whatever his condition is, President Biden has finally become a sketch joke on Saturday Night Live. . . .it is that noticsble.

Anyone who claims Biden could "run the country for another 4 years" is either being totally disingenuous or as dementia-riddled as him. Schumer and Pelosi obviously didn't believe it. That's why they browbeat a sitting POTUS (who had won all of his party's primaries) into dropping out of the race 3-1/2 months before Election Day.

How do you know NOBODY did? Were you there, and knew EVERYBODY? If we just take that statement and stretch it around the congress, there's folks out there that think EMTPY Green is brilliant, but most of us wonder how ANYBODY would think she's worth a vote.
Anyone else watch the 39 min music hour complete Trump swaying like a schizophrenic? Motor abnormalities are a normal among the mentally challenged. Postural sway deficits are present in schizophrenia as well as groups at high risk for psychosis

Trump has years of sketch joke status, so I doubt Biden will catch up in time.

Dear Ironman,
This thread principally is about Joe Biden, not Marjorie Taylor Green or Donald Trump. And LustyLad is right!
Joe Biden graduated close to the bottom of his classes at the University of Delaware and Syracuse law school. He managed to pass because he plagiarized a lot. This habit extended into his political life when he repeatedly plagiarized Neil Kinnock, along with Robert and John F. Kennedy.
Now I'm taking the following from Google AI, but I'm sure you can pull academic papers that will back this up. Low GPA (i.e. low class rank) and low IQ are positively correlated, with a typical correlation of around 0.5. And people of low IQ are generally considered to have a higher risk of developing dementia. So yes, as implied by LustyLad, Biden's lack of brilliance and analytical skills, obvious to EVERYBODY, may be correlated with his dementia!
Trump on the other hand has a higher IQ than George W. Bush, Barack Obama, George Will, Karl Rove, Rex Tillerson, Sadiq Khan, and the entire staff of the Washington Post! He said so himself! Trump has lots of cognitive reserves to protect him from dementia!
