BTW, there was no World Cup during WW I (first one was played in 1930) and 2 were cancelled due to WW II (1942 and 1946). So football did indeed lose.

As for who really helped win WW I and II, I leave that to other historians and other threads, but you might want to check and be careful in insulting all the nations and veterans who helped defeat the other side. BTW, both were started by Austrians, and they are not even playing in the current World Cup.

Now lets see what Switzerland can do. Gotta love the Swiss, so Neutral.
