Oh please, please stop. It's all a scripted illusion. The J6 Hearings were B.S. This country is under siege by a bunch of satanic asshole and Trump is just a prop. Get over it.

^^^ Man, if you are going to rebut in an argument/discussion, don't do so with your proof of evidence from a far-right wing nut job website. I object, your honor! LOL
Trump is finding out the hard way what happens when you attempt to fuck with democracy in this country and deservedly so because that is exactly what he tried to do.

Not to mention ordinary Americans, many of whom would have been rioting in the streets.
The Republicans pushing for the January, 2024 court date are wise. Better to get it over with quickly. The powers that be could have started these legal actions over a year ago. Instead, they chose a timeline that would have everything coming to a head along the time of the 2024 general election. That in turn will fire up Democrats like they've never been fired up before. They'll vote in massive numbers, outperforming the polls. And the United States may become a one party state, at the federal level, if Republicans continue to hitch themselves to the Trump Train.
Judge Luttig is correct. Barrack Obama, Donald Trump, and Joe Biden were very divisive presidents. They've pulled America apart at the seems.

i'm impressed. i can't recall watching a so-called legal expert like Luttig be completely right in one sentence then be completely wrong in the next. most impressive!
let's just focus on what he got completely wrong and why. his contention that Trump incited a insurrection is nonsense. and he should know that. there is nothing in Trump's Jan 6th speech that can even remotely be considered "inciting the overthrow of the Government".
NONSENSE! this person knows or should know that Trump very well could have said ..
"Go burn down the Capitol!!"
which of course we all know Trump never said any such thing. he actually said "peacefully protest". not once did Trump say anything that would or could be considered "inciting an insurrection".
Trump shouldn't even be charged for what happened on Jan 6th and Luttig knows why.
Brandenburg v Ohio
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brandenburg_v._Ohio
it's disingenuous for a person who was a judge and twice considered for the Supreme Court not to know Brandenburg v Ohio and what that ruling means. he knows perfectly well what the ruling means.
Luttig is a "Never Trumper" conservative and every word he says about Jan 6th and Trump is tainted by this fact.
even the FBI doesn't consider Jan 6th an insurrection now. because it wasn't.
it was nothing more than a rabble that started a riot.

^^^ I would say the exact opposite, Levi about "an ounce of sense" so I guess that is what I'd simply call a "conundrum" and just need to agree to disagree and let the chips fall where they may in the courts.

How many grand juries is it so far that have found enough items have been presented to merit Trump being indicted ?
And it is a mix of state and federal grand juries. The Trump supporters "victim" card of the Feds and DOJ bashing Trump for political purposes get weaker every passing day.

All you have to do is look at where and by whom these “grand jury’s” were seated.

If Trump was truly guilty of any crime he would be under the jail by now.

In 1985, Sol Wachtler, then the chief justice of New York's Supreme Court said, “ Any good prosecutor can get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich.” If anything, in the 30 years since he uttered those very accurate words, the situation has gotten worse, not better.

Yeah, but is it legal to carry out a conspiracy to appoint false electors and then push the Vice President of the United States to declare you president, even though you didn't get the votes?
If we were talking "money" instead of "votes", wouldn't this be fraud? And what's more precious, legal tender of the United States of America? Or your vote? Actually I'd rather have the money but many would disagree.

... How sad... You must have MISSED the FACT that the
Dems have brought alternate electors before.
They brought them Certification Day back in 2017
- after Trump had won the election and the states
were certifying the vote... VP Joe Biden hit the
gavel and told them to forget it - Trump won.
Mike Pence did the same thing in 2021 during the
certification when Repubs were bringing the alternates.
WHERE have you been? ... Was there "damage to democracy"
when the Dems did it??
