Precisely, and would be expected... a CATCH-22. Another reason why a menu (somehwere) would be helpful.

I consider myself very fortunate; I've pretty much chosen the ladies I've seen via reviews, and the reviews I've read have been pretty accurate as far as telling me what would be on the menu. That's why I get irritated at reviews which simply say something like "GFE" without further specifying what that entails. But I won't get started on that rant again.

There have been threads about the need for accurate and thorough reviews that provide necessary data to make an informed decision on who to see. Plus there's always back channel pm's to contact a reviewer and ask specific questions that may not be published in a review.

Yeah, well this only works when there is a database to research. Right now the database is pretty bare, except for those ladies who are reviewed, and reviewed, and reviewed, etc., thanks to their WKs.

I'm not a big fan of greek...just using it as an example. It could have been any menu item. Fact is, if I ask the specific question, I get "click."

I can see from a providers standpoint about not answering such questions. There is such a thing called a verbal contract and saying about yes about certain things to the wrong person can get one in trouble. With that said, it is hard for the hobbyist to know. So it is Catch-22. I think we have all learned the lessons the hard way about what can and can't be done! Just part of the hobby!

Ouch, that stung. And here I thought that I'd received so many good reviews because I made a conscious effort to provide a good service and take my job seriously.

I disagree... BIGTIME!! I could provide a long-long list of well reviewed Arkansas girls with extensive amounts of "data" provided within their reviews! Research may take you beyond the first couple of pages.... or the last few months which have been taken over by your acknowledged WK club. Also.... try checking TER , using 501 & 479 area codes.... LOTS of data!! Keep looking.... the data is there!!

Bingo. I get the hobbyists' catch. I do. But there really isn't anything I'm willing to do about it. Call me and ask the 'rates and services' question and you will hear Click or laughter Click. A hobbyist asking lots of specific questions via phone, text, email or pm throws red flags all over the place for me. A "provider" asking a lot of p4p specific questions ought to be red flags for clients too, btw.

It is always better to play safe than sorry for both parties. Sometimes one gets burned but learns (no more venturing off the reservation into BP land for me

) and as MrGiz says they are plenty of providers that you more than know what they provide and what they don't. You may have to shuffle through a few badly written and uninformative reviews to get there but when you get there .... Oh baby!! Is it soooo worth it
