waldt and all have different criteria for what we will and wont do to have a consultation. i have no problem with that at all.
it also depends on how long you are
willling to wait before a consultation.
if you want it NOW, then your options are limited.
if you want it when it's possible, then your options are wider.
you pay your money, you take your choices.
sometimes, i planned a consultation for the upcoming week, sometimes for the next week, sometimes 3-4 wks in advance. i'm willing to wait for that.
sometimes, i called a woman i've consulted with before and was at her location w/in 1.5 hrs.
sometimes, i just drove over to royal and stemmons and walked in. those consultations are nice but different from an indy consultation.
and for me, i've learned to appreciate this maxim -
if it happens, it does. if it doesnt happen, it doesnt.
i'm not going to get upset or frustrated if it doesnt. it doesnt do me any good to do so.

I think some indies get complacent with their regulars and instead make it a priority to allow newbs to the front of the queue in an effort to grow their business. With the majority of AMP girls and AMPs I've known well it's just the opposite...their regular guys get preference.
