First off, love the idea of this thread.
+100 For the use of the word Doppelganger.
I was raised with this word, I have had to define/explain it a few times the last couple weeks... oddly/coincidentally enough.
Me. (yes some a couple years old.)
These are who I am often compared to.
"Have you ever been told you like__________?"- Madonna. My #1 that I hear the most, "You look like a young Madonna." Yes, it's all in the face, minus the mole, I mean, beauty mark.
- "You look like the chick from Titanic." Kate Winslet. I am built more like her.
- "You look like that singer from the 90's." Jewel. Eh, kinda in the face. But my teeth are 200% better.
- "You look like the chick from Clueless." Alicia Silverstone. Maybe, kinda.
- Julianne Moore, this is the one my ex insisted on. I do see a vague face shape thing going on, although she is very slender. I am not.
- "You look the chick from Blossom. What's her friends name?" Six, played by Jenna Von Oye. The face? Not so much, the body, yes, body doubles damn near. However, I am more top heavy.
Personality?
Not sure I could even begin to guess who I am most like, although, I know I am a bit quirky.
Not a bad list to be compared to, I suppose.
Funny doppelganger story...
I moved to this town about 10 years ago. I used to work in a club.
For the longest time, people kept telling me there was a local gal named Sally
who was my twin. I never did see her, and she moved away.
I had the hardest time convincing people I was NOT Sally.
To this day there's this hard headed Arabic guy who every-time he sees me,
"Hi Sally!"
So I just nod, wave, and say hi back.
