I love Pit Bull. Last year a sweet but really uptight friend of mine asked me who Pit Bull was and what to expect. He said it was his night to take clients / bankers to the show. He took an NYC investment banker to the show. LOL they left early.

I can't stand the venue and they artists only play a few songs. I only go to the Cook Off which I love.

I'm no Pitbull fan but the dude put on a good show. His music had the women dancing in their seats and the aisles so aside from the screaming, it was an alright time. I agree, Reliant sucks as a concert venue. The acoustics in that place are horrendous but as a casual fan, the concerts are a good length IMO. An hour and a half is just right especially since the concert happens after all the rodeo events.

The Cook Off is awesome but like most things in life, it's all about who ya know. If you don't have some sort of connections , it's not nearly as much fun.

I'm a long time Houstonian. Besides, I'm a gal. All we have to do is start talking to someone in a booth / tent from the thoroughfare and bam..............

I enjoy the show before the bands get on stage, because then I'm really just watching the singers on a big TV. I have one of those at home. Although, they have a much better surround sound system.

I read my teenage daughter the lineup and she said 'how many can I pick?' LOL She also thought it was a great lineup.

I'd personally want to see Jason Aldean, but that's just me. I'd go see REO Speedwagon with you; they actually put on a good show. First time (and only) I saw them was at the Colorado State Fair in Pueblo, CO.

IMMORTAL going to be there for Tejano night

Wouldn't mind seeing Keith Urban. Great guitarist. Plus it will be packed with college girls, MILFS, and cougars!

I wouldn't mind seeing Keith Urban or Blake Shelton. I look pretty cute in a set of boots...

Yes I do like the rodeo, but with my work, I give most of the tickets away to customers ... I might have to save one for myself this go around, but it looks like , Jason , usher, Luke, Blake and maroon 5 ... Are the ones my customers want to see....

Jason Aldean:

"Baby, if you're in mood and you can settle for a one night rodeo.
If you can be my tan-legged Juliet,
I'll be your Redneck Romeo."

I was there. It was too funny watching women launching themselves at Elvis and his caddy. Carl Lewis could not have reached Elvis, with three jumps.
