Actually, 212 million years ago. The galaxy in question measures 522,000 light years across. And to see it as it is today you'd have to travel in it's direction at the speed of light for 106 million years, stop and observe the light coming from the galaxy which had also been traveling for 106 mil. years.
Speed of light = @ 700 mil. mph x 24 x 365 x 106 mil = a fer piece
Think of all the name calling you could do while covering that distance!
