i know Reformation Jews are very liberal, they are primarily U.S. based tho.
you have the Orthodox Jews which is most of the general population and there's the a 3rd group of Jews who eschew military service in favor of religious study. (don't recall the name of this group tho), I think they are fairly liberal, given they are big time moochers.

You're thinking of the Hasidic Jews. However, they aren't moochers off the state. Hasids have two classes in their societies, the businessmen and the religious scholars. The business oriented families take care of the religious families because they feel both are important aspects of society. Hasids don't believe in taking welfare from the government... they take care of their own. They also tend to vote in a collective group where their religious leaders tell them who to vote for.

now there are many in the northeast who do vote with a very liberal bent, which puzzles me at times since other groups in the dimocrat milieu of groups seem to detest jews
