And let me point out (again) that there's nothing more in the "database" than you would find on any other site you have a handle and email address registered on.

P411 is only meant to be used as one tool in the screening process. It is not perfect, it's just a tool. A damn good tool, in my opinion, but perhaps I'm biased.

The reality is, the "crimes" you might commit while engaging in this hobby are petty misdemeanors. Therefore, not a lot of resources go into it and thoroughly screening clients and providers usually eliminate 99.99% of the risk.

If that 0.01% chance of getting into trouble keeps you up at night, this might not be the hobby for you. Mitigate your risk, use the tools that are out there to use, and if the risk still feel too great.... it's time to move on.

I've been a P411 member since almost the beginning. It's the only referral/screening method I've used in several years. My comment had NOTHING to do with P411 ... I'm on P411 ... and I am not concerned about my personal information being revealed from P411. (Personally, I'm more concerned about some of the posters in here.) I will repeat. To get the data to Canada it passes through nonP411 servers. That is not a criticism of P411 or Gina's comments. I was not challenging the P411 security. It is the nature of internet communications and phone communications.
