I understand that the OP doesn't mean to out anyone, and that is IS interesting to see a provider in public, especially on a TV show, but the threat is real nevertheless. The provider probably didn't realize the danger or figured she wouldn't be recognized, or maybe, like me, it's not that big a deal since she doesn't have anything to protect.

Heck, I've been doing live theater and public appearances like the Texas Renaissance Festival in full wicked wench costume for years, and I know my image in on film in people's camera, but nothing quite as out there as "Bar Rescue," which will be repeated on worldwide cable ad infinitum. I don't have to worry about a family or friends or boss in the dark about what I do. (They either don't exist or already know. I've always been unconventional.) Those who have to normally hide their faces in ads. I don't. I understand the consequences and am ready to deal with them, and perhaps she does, too, but we don't KNOW that, so we can't speculate.

Lots of people here post very good points. However I was surprised no one posted this before me. This is not a post to "out" anyone. If a well known local provider goes on Good Morning America tomorrow it will be no secret.

Thats the way I see it too. Until names or ID's are used, there has been no outing.

Good call Stick....only if you have seen her before would you recognize her....and if you have seen her...she screened you so.....A mountain out of a mole hill.

I did watch the show, thought the cup looked cool so I went down to check the place out...They have some generic stupid cup now? No more crystal skull looking cup, or maybe they were just out while I was there.

Evidently the standards in NOLA forums are a wee bit different than in Houston, as threads similar in nature (just alluding to a provider's "other life") have been removed here. Maybe we're just more paranoid?

Actually, it's immaterial. I mean, who really cares what a provider's doing if she isn't doing YOU?

Oh, man, that glowing skull cup looked SO cool. If I ever made it back to Bourbon Street, I was going to visit the bar just for that. Pout. It was probably pretty expensive to produce and didn't fit into their profit margin past the ones made for the show.

The cup and only the cup cost the bar $27 each. They were good for the show, but way to costly. Don't expect to see them on the street.

And yes, the cup was way over the top. It's absurd to think they could keep that going, cost wise.

Raindog, I saw the show and didn't recognize anyone either. As stick said, no provider stepped up to complain. I think the moral of this thread is that it wouldn't be cool to start a thread like this. I have made several public appearances (not tv) that I couldn't get out of, due to my past work. I was scared as shit that someone here would see me.
So, while I agree that this episode might be much ado about nothing, I don't think it is appropriate to start a thread like this in the future. Do you agree? What if a provider did that to a hobbyist? Not cool either way. We should be here to protect one another. Discretion is important even if the provider chooses to show her face. She can't delete this thread, but she can delete her showcase. You just never know

I saw the episode in question and i recognize her. As far as i know she hasn't come on here and complained one bit. It's funny the one's who are complaning about being outed on here are the ones who have website's,showcases and post to help them sell that ass as much as possible. If your scared ladies then get a 9 to 5 but it's not smart to voice your opinion on a PUBLIC escort forum that with a little searching you can be found on. Just my 2 cent's. *This is not aimed towards any one person.

Perhaps you should get a new hobby because you have a 9-5... Don't know who you are, but that was just a silly comment.
Everyone here deserves discretion. Participating in a hobby board doesn't mean you deserve to be outed.
I don't think that was the intent of the OP at all, but I think this thread should set an example for the next person to think before they post something like this.
