Yeah, but it is a difference in semantics. Do you think the Democrats didn't do all they could to make Bush a one termer? In fact, both Bushes? The Republicans did all they could to limit Clinton to one term, but Clinton outfoxed them by moving right.
The only difference is that the Republicans are more honest about it this time, and if a Republican is elected, you can be sure that Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi will do everything they can to make sure that person is a one termer. Obama isn't being treated differently by the opposing party than any other President has been. Except maybe Washington.
I have an idea. Let's quit electing Democrats or Republicans and see what happens. It's worth a try.
