I always have a birthday bash! 2 guys, 2 girls (used to be 3 guys and 3 girls but one guy crapped out on me) for 2 hours. Switching and swapping back and forth. Great times!!

My birthday spoils definitely dont involve the hobby. I like to spend a weekend at the casino whether it be Vegas, Reno, or even Lake Charles. I would say spend your birthday around people that love you and spend the rest of your year with providers who only want your money.

That's a sweet hunk o iron!
Had a chance to buy a Barrett for $2,000 from a desperado about 5 years ago.
Just couldn't figure out what I would ever shoot with it.
.50 cal ammo ain't cheap either.

^^ Got a deal on Gunbroker ran me $10k but worth every dollar IMO.

Ammo is expensive which means you have to make every shot count...

.50 cal, .338, .308, .223, & 7.62...I'm ready for the zombie apocalypse now....safe is finally complete.

Two different calibers: .308 win / 168 gr and 7.62 x 39 / 154 gr

There are some minor differences. depending if you are shooting a 7.62 x 39 or 7.62 x 51 NATO.

No you don't need an FFL to buy one but you need to go through an FFL to purchase it unless it is a private party sale.

You do need a tax stamp if you are purchasing Class 3 weapons or a supressor. But I recommend setting up a trust.

^^ good luck with it..it's one hell of a weapon and incredibly fun to shoot. Take it out to the hill country where you can really enjoy it.

I gave myself time until I was solid on my .338 lapua. Once I was solid at 600 yards I told myself I would get the .50 cal. Have fun man..
