Sigh...
Dangit is not an unusual word... It just depends where you are from originally... If you are from the Deep South it is used all the time and it certainly is not a reason to start creating something out of nothing... Sigh...
While, Texas, is not the Deep South... We have a lot of oil workers who come in and out of our little world and for the love of the GAME, fiesta and a board member that is a heck of a good time...
Do you think that you could just LIGHTEN UP for a bit and learn to laugh a bit? Lol
We also like to use Dagnabbit, Whatchamacallit and I can list a 1000 other southern colloquialisms that could get everyone's knickers twisted even Stephen King before he decided that Salem's lot was a bad place to live... but definitely not Faulkner's...because I may or may not have played in the same darn Hollers...climbed a few of Rowan's Oaks and enjoyed a few iced teas while eating some pecan and apple pies on many a summer day...drifting on a squeaky porch swing... as lazy, fat mosquitoes made a meal out of our bare legs...
Soooo... Try to take a breath and enjoy life and I'm going to enjoy my new backyard... streets filled with music and fiesta colors, friendly people, magical voices, languages, delicious Mexican delights and music that singes your soul...
Relax Busty... Enjoy life... 🤗
