The only advice I can offer is use lots of lube, I prefer the thick K-Y versus the thin astro-glide. Use a lot. About the same amount of shampoo you use when you wash your hair. Put lots on his dick and lots on you too.

MY SO and I have done it many times, but I have found it is technique and patience is what is needed at first. Spooning is the best position. I really hate doing this but "relaxing" means relaxing your anus like you are taking a dump almost to the point of pushing a little. Your natural reaction is to tense up so you have to go slow at first and overcome the reactions to tense your anus back up. Just take it slow at first and anytime you feel the tensing push like you are taking a dump instead. This tensing only happens at the anus. Once penetration occurs and the anus is relaxed and opened up it goes pretty easy from there. Use lots of lube. Never use anything that desensitizes.
