So it's ok for you to break the law and sell or trade a gun to a felon(
you didn't check so how do you really know for sure your ol' buddy isn't)?? Maybe that's the new law that should be introduced............ make you the private seller legally liable for anything done with that gun you sold or traded.............. maybe that will make you think doing a background check is a good thing! If as you say you are an honest citizen what does a background check cost you?
An honest citizen would want to know for a fact that the hands he puts that gun in belong to another honest citizen!
And yes there is a "loop hole" I as a private seller can rent a spot at a gun show selling any legal guns to any guy that walks up with the cash and never do a background check on him.
