There are always a lot of problems with IOS when it comes to transferring files or music. I advise you to use Waltr2 software, you can quickly convert files and transfer music from your PC to IOS.

iPhone is top notch, iOS sucks and can't install Android on an iPhone! What should be a simple and basic file function is complicated with iOS requiring multiple, unintuitive steps!

I pay $138 a year for DropBox. It saves all that. Only headache is it's easy in W10 and overly complicated in iOS.

This don't answer your question but with a learning curve it might be your answer.

I got an iPhone and a lot of things came over except the text messages. Everybody says there’s no way to do it and I’m starting to believe that’s true. I don’t even have to retrieve them on this iPhone I will retrieve them anywhere possible that’s how bad I need them
