And your problems will be even bigger if you have your permitted weapon with you when you participate in a crime...just a guess, but i suspect you won't have that CHL after the bust....Course after your SO gets done with you, you may not be able to afford a gun anyway...

A weapon is no good unless it is readily available. I have had the situation come up where i have needed it ob three occassions. All worked out OK.

If it's someone that I know, them having a gun doesn't bother me. And there is a different poster in this topic here that I've seen several times and he always carried a gun as a force of habit.
But if someone that I didn't know walked in with a gun, it would totally upset me. I'm located in a nice town home, and anyone who knows me KNOWS that I don't know how to fight or be aggressive, regardless of the sometimes BDSM stuff that I do which is a different type of aggression, I'm just one to pretty much trust people.
And so when it's happened, and it has, unless we talk about it and come to an equitable conclusion (that has happened twice in five years) he's being escorted out the door. With me probably sweating and being scared half to death.
Funny, though, if a man REALLY conceals it then I'm not going to notice unless I start to grope him with his clothes on and I feel it.
So I would think if you're THAT comfortable having a gun in your pocket or around your waist, that you would be equally comfortable making the lady that you're with feel more comfortable and not let her KNOW that you have a gun!
Goodness! And BTW, I LIKE guns and I love to go shoot at a shooting range or go hunt. Just not in this type of situation.

It makes me feel totally uncomfortable. No matter how well you think you know a person...all sorts of things can change that. Very scary for me.

I understand, Reese ... Whenever we are together, please feel free to frisk me to your heart's content---repeat if necessary!
I've said it before...if you feel the need to carry to a session, you aren't shopping in the right places...

Hey Reese...I'll "loosen my bullets" for ya anytime, baby!
Carrying a gun creeps me out but it did for others until they were robbed, scared shitless, etc. Then, it didn't seem to creep them out anymore.

LOL, I was gonna say something similar when I first saw Crzytxn's post, "maybe you should shop in better places." The visual of scuffling for your heat should some shit break out while naked is just is hilarious to me.
It can only be concealed for so long, then what?
Ladies, I can understand you doin' a "cowboy" with his boots on for the good ol' state of TX, but I think you should be given some kind of award if you can carry out the entire act with your client in nothing but a holster and his pistol. I am cracking up just imagining this. Well we all have our "fetishes" so I guess until someone losses an eye it is all fun and games.
Ok, this has gotten funny again. Ok,, now some shit breaks out. (dunno what, prolly whatever you thought would happen that made you come in strapped in the first place) Now what?
Can she open her nightstand before you can stop trembling (orgasm), or roll over to unsnap the strap? (or do you have a "move" for that?)
Wouldn't it just be easier to rob someone walking the street? (you would be little more "distant to them"
....just shaking my head, seems like a strange mix to me.

I guess it all depends on what you feel comfortable with. Many people, who have carried a weapon for any length of time, are perfectly comfortable carrying it. Most of the time, they feel uncomfortable going somewhere without it. So I guess protocol dictates discussing it, prior to the appointment. And in actuality, when I started this thread, It didn't occur to me as a means of defense from the provider. But possibly from their manager / pimp / boyfriend etc. Or a robbery assault attempt.

i figure i carry as much as anybody, but we all go places where you can't. You can't legally carry that concealed weapon in bars, schools and anywhere a business owner opts to post a sign saying you cannot carry in his business.
So....there are times when most of us leave the gun in the truck or car, even if for brief periods of time. Sure your gun can get stolen...that's why a carry a Glock or something inexpensive that works. But, if i'm visiting a provider, she better be someplace where I don't feel compelled to carry a sidearm, or I ain't going.

Most of the time, they feel uncomfortable going somewhere without it. If that is the case, I would feel that was an "issue" in itself. You are speaking about it from a "defensive standpoint" and I just don't get why if one had a choice they would ever walk into a situation that they would have to worry about their safety, much less pay for it.... it really bugs me not, as it is a situation that I will never get into, but it is fun thinking / talking about it.

Do not hobby in places where you need to carry.
I have a CHL and numerous small weapons..... I never carry them to sessions.
I had a good instructor and he drilled into my head that once you pull that trigger, regardless of the circumstances, you immediately step onto the wrong side of the law....
You will have to fight your way back. Maybe you will, in fact you probably will. However, if you shoot someone during the commission of a crime, you will probably have a minimum of $10K in legal expenses to prove that you belong on the right side of the law.
My point is - Don't put yourself into situations that it may cost you your life or $10,000 or more to get out of.
Civil lawsuits abound after the fact....just sayin'

My recollection is that conviction of a Class A or Class B misdemeanor means your CHL can be revoked. I don't know if an arrest and conviction for whatever a hobbyist would be charged with in connection with seeing one of these lovely ladies is on those lists. Prostitution is a Class B as I recall....but I don't guess the client would be charged with prostitution.
Regarding carrying or not....I'd say if the lady objects, you need to either find somebody else to do business with or leave it in the car. Her space, her call. Same as a private business-owner can restrict your ability to carry into his place of business with 30.06 signage.
All that having been said....the first rule for a gunfight is to bring a gun.

You're kidding us aren't you?
Or are you one of the innocent/naive ones who think that just because an "ECCIE Verified" provider is A-OK for now doesn't guarantee that she won't go crazy as a shit house rat at any given moment and there are plenty of examples in not just Dallas but other cities?
Sure, the vast majority of ECCIE providers that transferred here since ASPD went down are pretty solid and upright, but don't forget that you never really know a provider's behind the scene life and anyone, client or provider, can go off the deep end if something falls apart.
