I guess this is as good a place as any discussing the SC and the Legislature.
Biden has said he agrees to a "filibuster" carve out, which I've never heard of before, that would allow the Senate with a Democrat majority to try and codify Roe again even thought they failed once before to do this because 2 Dem's say they are not in favor of changing the filibuster rule.
But let's say that the 2 Dem's cave because the topic is abortion and they pass a law that let's Roe stand.
Didn't the SC ruling make it clear that the federal government can not pass this law because this law belongs to the States? So immediately there will be a call for the SC to make this decision and what, tell the Congress they can't do this?
Food for thought.

One Dem to another, "I've got this great idea". Yeah, what is it? Let's open abortion clinics in all our National parks! Hell, bring the kids you decided not to abort and give them a lesson on what could have happened to them and still could if they don't behave.
Note to AOC, what ever you are going to "try" and do, you better hurry, you have about 4 months to get done what ever it is you want to do but I'll bet you she doesn't believe that.

Members Are Reminded . . .
Something to ponder . . .
Quote:
#27 - Often times in online communities, members may display a tendency towards bringing their conflicts with other members to the board. This will be strongly discouraged and swift effort will be made to put it to rest. Additionally, staff will make every effort to stay uninvolved in conflicts and disputes between members off the board except in such cases where the board becomes directly affected.

a victory for america
the supreme court restored constitutional principles
that the court should rule on the law
that representatives of the people should create law
that the executive should execute laws
would it only be that the last one was true

They are remaking laws by striking down legal precedent.
Do you understand how this stuff works?
Enjoy your popcorn.
