My point was how progressive their health care system is. Universal care is wtf Bernie is for so he'd be moving to what in effect is a more progressive country.

I saw a representative from Hawaii, female, that was discussing a run in 2020. Chick was on the ball.
At some point there will be a politician that explains that we can not have decent Healthcare and spent more than the next 10 countries combined on Defense.

I've heard good things about the place and I need to get an excuse to go down there by myself, without the kids and grandkids et al - eco tourism?

We need to use that military muscle to tax other countries or quit wasting our money on it.

I’ve been to both plus The Beatle Bar and the Cocal in Jaco.
The best ever is Luna in San Jose. You’ll definitely have to see her!

4 to 6 years is a lifetime away in today's world. Yes they are way more progressive. They are the opposite side of the same coin, the modern day Republican

SpeedRacer and Mystic, Thanks for your thoughts. Your outlook makes sense -- the Democratic party likely will be reasonably moderate (although not as moderate as I'd like) through 2020, but after 4 to 6 years, watch out.

I'm showing off my ignorance, I guess I don't know what "progressive" means. I should have said Democratic Socialist.
Both those points are strong positives in my mind, consistent with libertarian principals of lower taxes and smaller government. Cost Rica's health care system has outcomes about equal to ours, with per capita spending far, far lower than what we spend on Medicare and Medicaid alone.

If I were 15 years younger, that is to say appreciably poorer, Nicaragua would be a great choice. While as SpeedRacer says it may be more primitive, living costs are lower than Costa Rica. Ironically the "socialist" government there doesn't tax people on money earned outside Nicaragua, so it's kind of a tax haven.

No, pussy.
Seriously if you don't have a significant other you can find tons of excuses. Volcanoes, beaches, fishing, rainforests, it's got a lot to offer.

Their dictator there has already stolen everything he wants so you don’t have to worry about him taking anything away from shmucks like us.
I first heard about Luna here before the “restart”. Since then ECCIE closed down their Central American forms. Fortunately for me she and I still keep in contact through WhatsApp. She’s late 20s, couple of tatts and piercings, hippie like, absolutely loves what she does. Her English isn’t the best but she’s very much alive and loves to talk almost as she loves suck dick. She will fuck you to death. She lives in San Jose and I had my Uber driver deliver her. She’s hot. Pm me if you think your going down there.

Yes, it is less expensive to live in Nicaragua than Costa Rica but you get what you pay for.
As for Luna. I have never met her but her reputation is beyond belief. There is a website "costaricaticas.com" and I would advise anyone planning a trip to Costa Rica to become a member. Incredible wealth of information.
