Well at least it's the liberals' fault.
I guess we all owe Whirlyturd thanks for enlightening us to the evil of our ways.
Of course without boards like this, he'd just be another attention starved loser tryi g to get laid. And we would never have had the privilege of his wisdom.
Thanks dipshit!

So you really think trash TV show's demographics skew more Democratic than Republican? I can't believe that's even possible as most voters with graduate degrees are voting Democratic. I'd think they'd all be watching PBS or reading a book. Half of my Democratic friends don't even own a TV. I watch about one-half an hour of TV a week, other than NBA games.

Hey Dude I think you're wrong about this.
It's "conservatives" of today, which are not like the kind of Jeffersonian conservative I am, which are just as prone to each of these moronic tendencies.
Today's "conservatives" want the police to be everywhere all the time protecting us from imaginary exaggerated evildoers and slapping down everyone who deviates from the norm.
It's because of the "conservatives" that since the 1980s the prison population has gone up 1,000 percent, ten times higher than the next closest country, and 90% of this is for victimless crimes.
"Conservatives" also have their own sets of favorite victims and lionized heros, and so forth, and also impose their own values on everyone else.
Today's liberal-bashers want nothing to do with the kind of anti-government, anti-statist, anti-military and anti-American beliefs that I and our nation's revolutionary founders possess.
Today's "conservatives" believe anyone who carries around a Constitution and believes in it are terrorists.
I think liberals are less dangerous to our republic than today's phoney conservatives.

It is understandable that the inbred liberals totally missed the pointed............pay for sex has been around for centuries; that isn't what the author was talking about when he opined about the over sexualization of our mass culture (media, entertainment, advertising, branding, etc). But the Obama airheads are dumb as rocks, so they missed the point.
Additionally, the reactions by the liberal retards confirms viewpoint #5 - Indifference towards societal disintegration !

You make no sense.....but this quote is the most senseless......I would be interested to hear your defense of this statement; but you need to define "phony conservatives" in your reply.

To answer some stupid comments, this thread is about anything other that the hobby (read the board). Prostitution has been around a lot longer (a whole lot longer) than conservatives and liberals and has nothing to do with either. Is that so difficult to understand?
I guess that is another Hallmark of liberalism; trying to deflect with strawmen and insults.

You're the poster boy for Victimization TTH; as a trial tort lawyer you make a good living turning your clients into sympathetic "victims"......even if they were complete idiots......

Personal injury attornies, for the most part, are racketeering ex tortionists. Most of their cases are just shake downs with phony injuries. They look for deep pocket defendants that will pay settlements to make them go away.
We need tort reform, specifically loser pays. America has about ten times as many lawyers as we actually need.
What's the difference between a personal injury attorney and a catfish? One of them is a shit eating bottom dweller. The other one is a fish.

Want to know what tort reform has done for Texas (didn't know we had it, did you, motard?).
Tort reform has attracted some of the worst doctors in America to our state; many of whom were defrocked in other states or sued multiple times for malpractice.
You know what tort reform has done to malpractice insurance rates in Texas. JACK SHIT. They've barely gone down, in spite of the $200,000 cap on damages.
Tell me how many tort cases are prosecuted in Federal court, JOE JOB?
You're simply spewing the right wing talking points.
Until PI and other tort cases are tried in Federal Court, so-called tort-reformers (Right Wing Nutsacks) will continue to use that as a scare tactic and a reason to defend the unscrupulous profiteering by corporations and greedy insurance companies.
Personal injury cases are brought in state courts and judged under state laws. Unless the Federal Government is the defendant, that is. Overall, virtually NO tort cases are brought in Federal courts. Read this, ass wipes, and then counter it with something from Breitbart, Canadian Free Press, or MooseNuts.com...

Not what the jurors say. Besides, I'm spending les and less time on the law these days anyway. Making a greater and greater percentage of my income in oil and gas. A lot less work.
And Joe, I'm for looser pays, as are most Plaintiff's lawyers. I've lost five lawsuits in a 32 year career. If you have a fair looser pays statute that works both ways, the good Plaintiff's lawyers will clean up.

That's an interesting concept. But how would you determine who's looser? I guess blood alcohol content would be the way to go. If you got too loose, wouldn't you be held in contempt?
Will David Dewhurst Stand up to Texas Trial Lawyer Lobby?
The Texas House handed Perry a victory this month, handily passing their version of the loser-pays legislation. Now, the tort reform battle looms in the State Senate, where their version of the loser-pays bill is in committee. Lt. Gov. – and likely U.S. Senate candidate – David Dewhurst will be pitted against Texas Trial Lawyer honcho President Steve Mostyn, a sort of King of the Ambulance Chasers. Mostyn has amassed a large personal fortune by obtaining jackpot settlements from the state in hurricane-related lawsuits, and coughed up almost $6 million (nearly half of what the trial lawyers spent in total) to defeat Perry and other pro-tort reformRepublicans in 2010. Perry has made it clear he will sign any loser pays bill that crosses his desk, so the spotlight is on Dewhurst to play the rainmaker.
With a Republican majority in the Senate , passing the loser pays bill should be a no-brainer, but the trial lawyers will fight to the last man – or dollar – to stop it, and while their influence may be more limited than in times past, their wallet isn’t

I believe the "phony conservative" he was referring to might have been you! You and StupidOldFart were certainly the first ones I thought of when I read his post!
