No, he didn't. He didn't answer the question. I was going to type out everything that he said in the whole video, but I realized my time would be wasted as it would had fallen on deaf ears anyway, because people only hear what the want to hear

And by not answering the question, which he was asked multiple times, he refused to condemn looting by his leftist base

U.S. inner cities are returning to the squalor of the 1970s -- an era of urban decay we thought had been confined to history
From SF to NY to Portland, this phenomenon primarily afflicts Democrat cities that are soft on crime & champion woke /progressive politics. Coincidence?
A walk through downtown Portland, Ore., next to the Union Station:

NEW: Walmart is closing 4 of their store locations in Chicago.
Gee, I wonder why.
Mayor-elect Brandon Johnson is defending looters and attacking corporations.

Went to Walmart for some corn on the cob the other night and they were in the process of catching some 400 pound black lady stealing a bunch of dvds. She FREAKED. Screaming and yelling like a crazy person, acting like they had no right to check her. Throwing the thieves in jail is the only way it stops, and guaranteed that’s not going to happen because her great great great great great grandfather knew someone who knew someone who knew someone who picked cotton in Georgia 200 years ago. That gives them the right to steal whatever they want.

to be so indoctrinated , so mind manipulated, so sadly lost to be full of anger and hate over false premises of racism and other liberal blame scenarios is just an indication of directing the anger and hate away from those who really have caused the decay, lack of opportunity and overall despair in these cities.
chicago and other cesspool democrat cities have been under democrat control forever and most of the elected leaders of the dens of decay have been in office for years . they are the ones at fault and the ones who have failed these people. yet they are elected for terms of 30-40 years.
what can one say other than you get what you deserve when you continue to repeat the very thing that is the cause of your desolation and despair .

The solutions aren't left or right. They're centrist. Blaming a side and flipping to other extremes isn't the answer. You'll cut your nose off to spite your face in the belief that you're right while tossing out the things the left does which are good under the premise that nothing the left does is good.
Couch it as common sense, or extreme measures being needed to save things which anyone with a brain would see as an answer while ignoring that a large portion of the pop disagrees

i totally disagree,
thats the typical reply liberals say when they have no answer for what they created or failed to do when they promised voters they would make their lives better when asking for term # 25 . i dont know if your a lib or not i dont care . this is the attitude that solves nothing. to say neither side is a fault is the liberal fall back position when they are guilty. if you represent a city for 25 or 40 years and your not representing the needs of your people its your fault.
if you represent these people for years and nothing gets better for them, and when your up for re-election all your platform is the other party will make it worse they are your enemy then these career politicians are liars and manipulators . another candidate might not do it either but dont accept voting for a candidate who continues to do nothing for years to make your life better and cares more about climate change and , gas stoves and trans ,spending millions ignoring you blaming blind narratives while you live in squalor .

No, that's the response of a centrist identifying that neither extreme is a real solution.
I agree that if you have spent 25-40 years and no one is better off that a pivot is needed with new leadership and new ideas. Just not a full-bore pivot to the opposite extreme. You need people who can accomplish things in the middleground who are for the people. And those have been gutted in public service. The folks who look to right and left and don't give either side everything they want. Because we need freedom AND security. We need moderates and independents who recongize that there aren't just 2 choices and who aren't wed to party over people. That an idea isn't bad because it came from the other side. And who can build effective ground in the middle.
When we get to either extreme, we stop listening to the other voices.
Neither of the big 2 is the party of the people. Neither deserves or should be trusted with too much power.
We need term limits at all levels. We do need to have some career civil servants. We need to eliminate dark money. PAC's aren't helping us at all. And neither is a 2 party solution.

No - the solutions are far more on the right than the left. But not the right like that of the uniparty and RINOS. I am talking common sense, right wing populist, like that of MAGA and President Trump. Like that enacted by Ron DeSantis in Florida.
Democrats have ruined big cities for decades. At this point we should let these cities wallow in their filth and let the idiots who keep electing these leftist fools suffer the consequences.

Those answers offered there are why some folks here engage in the daily drip of Shapiro-esque troll science as they try to espouse xenophobia and ultra-nationalism under a veneer of being for the common man and wanting to protect "our values" using "common sense" while stepping on the throats of others
