(starting to remember why I decided to take a prolonged absence from this place....wondering why I came back)

Appears there's a lot more cubic zirconia here advertising as the real deal than there are genuine diamonds.

Seriously ladies, we can see thru the posing.

Besides, you would never ever have to worry about anything being boring the bedroom, obviously providers are sexually over achievers compared to our civie competition lol.

This is spot on. It hurts pretty bad when you give it up and the guy never calls you again, I think every woman has been there done that. That is what society puts shame upon the most for women, Giving it up for nothing, not giving it up for something! lol Reality TV puts the women who have managed to marry wealthy on a pedestal, sending the gold digging message.

I would never voluntarily be a free friends with benefits under any circumstances. I consider that being made a fool out of lol. So I think the hobby is very respectful to the guy and the girl. Girl is compensated for being used as a sex object, Guy is rewarded for his compensation, doesn't have to worry about spending money on a girl who is not planning on giving him any goods.

I love this hobby because it is such a Win Win for everybody.

There may be. I may have met a few and I may have met a few who advertises just the way they are. It is never hard to see through what's apparently not authentic but what provoked your post is what I am wandering?

There weren't many post from ladies so I am very curious to know what your comment is referring to. I don't think anyone was trying to be anything different from themselves- I'd imagine you wouldn't be able to express yourself while posing.

And likely even more cz among the guys on here. I read some folks (the gangsta comment for example) and just shake my head about how small a bubble they live in.

The fundamental truth about this corner of the world is that it is FAR from homogenous--and the people who have the lowest expectations are generally the ones most likely to tell everyone else that they are wrong.

Good article...
Hobbying is just a temporary lifestyle... most people will eventually mature into a traditional way of life, because when you get older you feel like you will need to find someone who you can depend on towards the end of your life. Rather than someone who only come to you when you have a few change to spare.

I am still a newbie but what got me into this thing is...
Here's a little background... I chased the same girl (never seen anyone else) for I don't know, maybe two years? (thought I saw great potential, you know the usual wife type, sweet, educated what not) Buying gifts, pay for dinner etc etc... 2 years passed... I still get the same old "THANK YOU" and a goodnight hug. Then you are just like enough is enough...
In the end chasing a broken dream and hobbying is just the same thing.... You pretend it is real but will always end up at square one. At least in hobbying you get what you paid for, and know what you are in for. No one is gonna come to you years later and demand child support, no one is gonna divorce you and take half of your wealth away. LOL
LIVING THE DREAM.

Awwe cheer up, there are disappointments in all aspects of life. You have to always believe that there are brighter days. Your trials and tribulations are only going to make you stronger.

M.
Was this a Pro/P4P? If so you were just what she called a "great regular." Of course she treated you nicely.

You really shouldn't expect to find a wife in an escort. In fact that is part of the "code" -- pay for time and companionship & you both respect boundaries.

If she was a civie? Well.......

Have you heard the expression "Friend Zone?"

You were in it bro!

It is tough to move out of there.

It's also tough for some people to confront that situation. Hopefully you learned fromt he experience and next time will be the value of pressing the issue before months turn into years.

Oh that girl I was talking about in the background is not a provider lol...
(just a background info of what got me into hobbying)
Trust me... I am not dumb enough to try to make a wife out of one! (The chances are close to 1 in a trillion) hahaha

Well, my attitude is when I get some decent cash I will probably buy a second home that I will let a sugar baby live in lol. I bet there are plenty of ladies who will show love just because I helped out with the electric bill. That's why I think all of this excessive stuff is silly, maybe for someone I care about but not just to rent a girlfriend with no strings but that's just me.

I think that article has been misunderstood. It doesn't mean the guy is actually dating an escort. It just means he's the kind of guy whose attitude towards procuring Companionship goes beyond getting BnG's in a 2 star motel in order to keep his feelings separate.

It is symbolic of the shift in attitude of the "courtesan's" (if we can call it that) role in modern society. Judging from the comments, a lot of people will say when it comes to this industry 'a rose by any other name', and they'd be right. It's the same stuff.

But this is a totally different ball game. She will not be on the next installment of Hookers at the Point, and he is not your 'I don't screen because you can't trust a hooker' clientele. There is a respect of the person that she is, and an understanding that she is only a medium for him to express feelings/do things that he can't consistently do with/for a girlfriend.

I am "girlfriend" (though even that's a strong term) to a handful of my long term clients. And some of them are married. What I've noticed among this group is that they don't have the 'but you're a hooker' mentality. They know that they can't/wouldn't leave their wallet at home for any quality woman in their life, so why would I be an exception?

I connect with these guys on different levels, and different aspects of myself turn them on. You know, like real human beings. There are definitely moments of vulnerability and complete honesty with each other.

But to answer your question about who qualifies: in short, it would be a woman who's sure of her REAL self. And that's rare in this industry.
