Yup Desperado.
I was just thinking that we didn't put enough funds in the NBA Ref Retirement Fund.

And to think that the NBA was scared that the fans would forget them with the strike this year.

Are you fucking kidding? Have the Spurs ever really lost a game because the other team is better or have the refs stolen ever damn one? Damn whiners.

Officiating was very questionable during the second half. Oh well, I am looking forward to watching the 2012 Summer Olympics next month.

That is going to happen with refs and the home team. Once the Spurs lost game 5 it was going to be an uphill battle for them. The game was lost at the start of the second half when the Spurs let the Thunder back in the game. What they needed was 10 X more nasty to begin the second half.

Spurs played second half not to lose, rather than to win. Two totally different teams in first half and rest of the game. Had Capt.Jax not made his shots, Spurs would have been blown out. Too much hesitation, despiration, rather than focus and purpose. Thunder should beat either team coming out of the East.

Do you guys think the refs made bad calls in the games the spurs won (20 game winning streak)? Blaming the refs is as cheap as the flopping by harden and ginobli...

If you're going to blame the refs then you should go back to game 1 and 2. There were a lot of horrible calls made against Oklahoma (offensive charges called against okc when spurs players were either inside the circle or were still moving). No one thanked the refs for the help. Or maybe its different when refs help out the spurs???
Dennisrn, thats hilarious. Listen, you may not understand what Lin means to this team. Heres a question...when was the last time the knicks had a true point guard (aka a pass first pg). I will give u a hint....go waaaaay back. I am hoping lin can bring us to the playoffs. as a knicks fan we have very low expectations..

Omgoodness...yes, terrbile calls were made throughout the entire year. No matter what...a quesionable call...is still a questionable call!! And, if that call makes the difference between a *team* winning a Championship series or not...it's not going to settle well with the losing team or their fans!

Spurs fans will always remember...the imfamous 2007 DUMBEST EVER technical...given to Tim Duncan...by Joey the *Crackhead* Crawford!

Also, for those who may think some us are whiners and paranoid about the NBA, and officiating of some of these games...have you forgotten about Tim Donaghy?

I realize OKC is a great team and well deserved of their win! I just get a little tired of a CLASSACT Championship team...rarely, if at all, getting any respect! Oh well...there's always next year...LET'S GET BUSY AND GET NASTY!! (lol)

I also agree that refs can change series. teams would say when they played the Bulls when Jordan was there and Crawford was the ref they had no chance. Whereas when Hue Hollins was the ref Bulls had no chance. Some refs just are biased ugainst certain teams. I will always believe that. I still think the league wants HEAT vs Thunder in NBA finals. There were some bad calls in 2nd half against the Spurs in game #6.

Just my half a cent.
