Outing - When is it appropriate?

The Mods don't let ya "out" nothin. They will err on the side of "not allowed" every time, if they are worth a damn. And while it may seem that there should be exceptions, there cannot be. Because it gets abused. And they cannot be a judge or juror in those situations.

So to keep it simple, they just make a very hard line that you should not cross if you don't want to get banned. Even if you think a ban might be worth it, the Mods will just edit/delete your post anyway. And still ban you.

shhhhhh in one of mine, it was not till a NYS Task Force Asked

"Please will ya just ban that fucker"

and a Call from that NYS Task Force had me begging "WTF I'm not banned yet"
And so I know it was worth the year girl, I see they let ya out

at this time I want to thank the brave that joined in and took a year with me. Even if a few of ya fuckers cheated with a 2 handle/s. How in the hell a few of ya got nailed before me I'll never know

its funny NY PD's had to tell the mods how the MAP worked and was killing what they wanted to do

Wakeup was the only mod that figured it out fast. But at time only a puppy mod with no power and other real mods HATED. So they ignored him Btw Now a full mod that like many MIA

I am discusted with the current outing for a ncns. I had one last week by a very well known provider. Thing happen every once in a while.

Rooster- very true in terms of this board and others. With social media there are many other avenues available to “out” someone. I am not sure what the board policy is regarding outing on another medium. I don’t think outing is ever warranted no matter where it happens, except perhaps in the most extreme of circumstances.

you will still get banned, no matter if it had ta come out

unless lucky, the next one is 2 years so bet on its got to be worth 2

now some outings have been they where upset. not cool and they be the ones most likely to do the new handle thingy

I served my time with no 2nd, knowing no others will get fucked over by. Rats dang nab it on that it fucked up a case NYS PD's were working on.

I think a combination of those two approaches makes a lot of sense. Don’t be an asshole is always a good approach and tends to help you stay out of trouble. However, sometimes trouble can find you even if you aren’t behaving like an asshole. That’s why you need to be careful who you choose to deal with. You need to ask yourself am I willing to trust that this person will protect my information or even worse that they won’t try to use it against me. For me, the answer is always no. That means that I don’t get to see certain providers and that’s okay. I don’t even contact them if they are clear that is the only way to screen. My peace of mind is more important to me. I also just respect that the provider gets to choose what method of screening makes her feel safe.
