Anonymous01, you got a link for bitbleach?
i just went to eff.org and a) didnt see any menu links for "privacy tools" (just "privacy badger") and b) search on their website for "bitbleach" returned no results.

thanks.

websearching for "bitbleach" returned these. which one is the utility you are talking about?

They both look like the same program. The "org" website is the one i downloaded from.

That program was fixing the slow down. But now my other computer is running slow again. The computer was running good till i started going to redtube and xvideo porn sites It seems the mouse buttons are double clicking. or slow to click.

CCleaner,

I used to use it about 10 years ago.

Won't now.

Windows sucks if you don't do the necessary preventive maintenance to keep it running up to snuff. Windows accumulates lots of junk during normal use that slows it down over time. I've always used CCleaner to clear out the junk.

Bleachbit is nothing more than the Linux version of CCleaner and can be used on Windows machines.

For Windows I've always used free Avast AV, Malwarebytes and CCleaner and have had little problems.
The key for Windows is DOING your needed preventive maintenance.

Could be hardware...CPU and GPU fans can build up dust and not cool adequately...buy some compressed air and clean...use chopsticks to stop fans from spinning too fast when spraying (protect bearings). A dirty computer will run slow.

Every "free" product you downloaded actually adds more spam to your hard drive - pretty soon you'll be getting pop-ups for the "paid" versions.

Download bitbleach from eff.org (privacy tools). Read everything on eff.org and consider supporting them. They can teach you a lot about internet security.

And stop being such a tightwad and buy real firewall / antivirus. I've run Norton since version 1.01. Those other companies (avast, in particular) are owned by Russians. Pretty soon all of your news feeds will be Fox and your twitter feed will be you-know-who... LOL!

Malwarebytes and AVG have always done the job for me.

Both offer free versions but is worth to have the paid version installed.

This may be a little off topic but you gentlemen seem to be very knowledgable about computers.
Here's my problem, I use Bing video sometimes and a few days ago I started getting
"Sorry, this video is no longer available" This happens on almost every video I click on.
Any Ideas?

When hard drives get 80% or more full they start acting weird and funny. Either dump some stuff or get a bigger drive.

Exactly!
Been using Linux for over 10 years with no worries. Linux is more secure than M$ and Mac. Don't need M$ or Mac anymore.
Oh and most Linux OSs and ALL Linux programs and apps (they have more than M$ and Mac combined) are free!
