What saddens me, Wakeup, is that you set such low standards for yourself. My standards of behavior don't depend on rules that are given to me by someone else. I'd like to hope that you're a grown man, and don't need a nanny sitting on you in order to get you to behave in a manner that doesn't embarrass you and reflect poorly community you're a member of.
I know. Shangri-La.

As a Mod one of the main things one would need to be is impartial to all members. However a mod certainly has friends who are members of this board both male and female. It must be a very difficult decision whether to lean towards the board or towards the friendship.

If I were a mod in that situation, I'd be back-channelling my friends asking them to stop making my position more difficult. And if they didn't help me out, I'd have a good idea what the friendship meant to them.

If that decision is "difficult," then the person should not be a mod on a board with friends.
As for bp's observations, IMO he is correct: "friends" don't put "friends" in a bad spot.
I am not one of the "in crowd" and do not aspire to be as such, so I expect a slight bias in a close call simply because the mods do not know me ... regrettable that it is that way, but that seems to be normal in my profession as well .... there is always a slight advantage on the home team's turf .... as hard as "we" try to keep the playing field even. It's human nature. But "we" should all strive to avoid bias in our judgments when we are tasked with "keeping the peace."
Although I have had "may share" of dinks, reminders, and points, it seems that we should also strive to follow the rules posted, and any that are not, minimize the job of the referees, or at least make it less burdensome. After all, we are ALL adults, although some more mature than others. Cough, cough.

Ad info? You must not be reading what the rest of the world is reading.

What do you call all the info at the bottom of everyone of your post The website. P411 link etc... if not an ad. Maybe along with reading you should buy a dictionary if you don't know what AD means.

You can keep your hypocritical sadness...everything you do every day of your life is governed by rules...the difference between us is that I choose to see how far I can push the rules to do what I really want to do, whereas you follow the rules handed to you by your parents, society, and friends and follow them to the letter...
I don't get embarrassed...ever. I don't reflect poorly on any community...because I'm not part of any. I'm me, and if someone doesn't like it, too damn bad. That doesn't mean I'm not subject to "rules"...I just choose to interpret those rules to suit me...simple...
I'm still waiting on the answer about what you're proposing to do about us. Or is this just another in your list of "oh woe is our board society, I long for days gone past when men were gentlemen and respected all women" whiny threads? What is it you want? Really.

Or maybe, we should all come together so we can be heard. Why do the kind hearted people have to sit back and shut up, while hate is allowed to take over? The assholes get to shout their hate from the roof of every thread so why can't we shout our protest about how we are talked to as well? Why must we be the ones to walk away and look in the mirror?

You can very easily go to your user CP and change your setting so that you don’t have to see anyone signatures.

I'm certainly not asking the fat chicks to shut up...where would the drama come from if that happened? Takes two to tango...

The truth is that when someone who is considered highly unattractive (whales) by 90% of the human population put themselves in the spotlight it is inevitable that the "assholes" will come out of the woodwork and say what everyone else is thinking.

Actually, I evaluated the rules I was taught growing up, kept the ones that made sense to me, and got rid of the rest. Developed a few new ones, too. One thing I learned at an early age was to evaluate situations and decide courses of action for myself. (That mindset ultimately led me to the hobby - although it is outside society's norms, I concluded that it was a very ethical and honest way for me to enjoy a variety of sexual partners without having to lie to them or deceive them.)
What saddens me is the "do what I really want to do" part that you wrote. I don't doubt the veracity of this statement, but what makes me sad is a grown man who chooses to spend so much time berating women based on their weight. I'm certainly not saying who you should or shouldn't find attractive, but to go out of your way to repeatedly belittle these women makes me wonder what horrible life events made you carry this much pain and anger. In person you seem like a nice enough guy, but then there are consequences for being an ass in person that don't exist in the on-line world.

Are you trying to describe yourself as having antisocial personality disorder? This would be ironic, because its APA acronym is ASPD.
And by participating here on a regular basis, you have become a member of this community. I have little doubt that you belong to others, too. The fact that you're uncomfortable admitting this is odd.

My point here is simple. I'm expressing my opinion, hoping that enough people agree with me that the owners of Eccie decide to raise the bar for acceptable behavior a bit. Then you and your friends will either pretend to be grownups like the rest of us, or you'll go somewhere else. In either case, I think this will cause more providers choose to join Eccie and participate.
That in turn will increase my options for having fun. I visit Eccie in order to have more fun in the hobby.
For you, it's apparently some poor substitute for therapy.
