My ECCIE Reviews
|
The other thing that comes to mind is these reviews are bot crawled on the web. What happens to a non provider LMT/RMT if you review her, and lets say she doesn't know about this site, or others, or even what a review is, but someone at her place of employment runs across the review online? Now she loses her job.. and she can't figure out what happened.
She has no idea of this little world of ours.. and wouldn't know anything about any of these sites. Folks there are legitimate massage therapists out there.. and what if a guy does a review that says TOFTT and all he got was a massage, but now that review is on the web. She still gets in trouble because of what is implied and the fact it is on a site like this.

Texas Occupation Code
"Sec. 53.051. NOTICE. A licensing authority that suspends or revokes a license or denies a person a license or the opportunity to be examined for a license because of the person's prior conviction of a crime and the relationship of the crime to the license shall notify the person in writing of:
(1) the reason for the suspension, revocation, denial, or disqualification;
(2) the review procedure provided by Section 53.052; and
(3) the earliest date the person may appeal the action of the licensing authority. Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1999."
No we are not "done." .. and neither is the LMT/RMT

There I fixed it for you!
"Of course, if some of you assholes would shut-up and not tell every gal who has a review(especially massage gals), that they have a review, we could all enjoy their services without getting lumped into the category of one of those "review board guys". I particularly like the bullshit dance that massage gals and their clients do: They pretend that we are the only ones they do this with, and we pretend like we are all appreciative and not gonna tell our buddies the details. The are massage therapists, not sex workers. Right? "

Count me in as one of the "ass-holes."

I'm not much on massages but have seen a couple and never ask or lok for a license . If I do a review I always ask if they want one if they say no I don't. I usually find them on this site not on Anjie's list.I would not want to out them but they need to make sure on thier end to keep their idenity safe just like me.

By definition an RMT/LMT cannot keep their "identity safe just like" you ...
.. they have to display their license with their real name on it ...
.. just like you do when you are driving and get stopped and asked for your license.
Now do you want your real phone number posted on here, so that your real name can be revealed, and your real address discovered by a simple search of the real number on the license?
If so, post your real phone number on here with your real driver's license number.
And MrClark, please do not cloud the issue with talking about the "spa girls" and those advertising in the "massage" section of BP immediately below the "escort" section ... we are talking LMT/RMT's. Apples vs. Oranges.

"RTM it and we will remove it." Jad
Jad.... that does no good once it is posted. I have "googled" posts that have been changed, modified, or deleted and they are still "on the net" and searchable.

Answer me this lexus lover, how is a review by an anonymous person on eccie constitute enough proof of wrongdoing for the state of tx to revoke someone's lmt license?
Do you know of a case where this has actually happened?
And for once in your life can you please give me a straight comprehensible answer?

It's not, but it will give the state agency a target, they will send someone in for the extras, then get all they need to pull the license.

Because the review's linger around for a bit search engines like google are able to cache this information. but once its removed no one can see the contents of that link anymore except for the staff..... it's unfortunate it happens however thats the risk they run when partaking in activities.
FWIW the Houston staff value's anonymity and we do our best to protect it. We take this very serious.
