I could give examples to counter each solution you have posted but most do not pay attention anyway. It all depends on how much effort they wish to expend and in most cases there are other crime matters that demand their priorities. What matters when it comes this adventure is child porno and sex trafficking--and it should !!!!!!!!

If they are an outside party, meaning neither the client nor provider is Vice, then that would involve them intercepting communication between the two, then busting down the door at the "scene" of the "crime." This would require hacking their phone or email using expensive surveillance equipment, tailing one party on the road by car, then breaching a private room with either probable cause or a warrant. If they are willing to go to that much trouble, then you are likely already on the wrong side of the fence with the authorities well before the appointment took place, and they would find some other way to bust you on another charge such as speeding or drinking in public.


A possible exception may be if they have "contracted" with a hotel to do busts. Even then they still need the identity of the person they are pursing to even know who they are looking for to begin with. They won't install a camera in the room of a random guest, unless they have strong reason to believe that particular guest is involved in illegal activity.

I feel like LE is more likely to set a sting and let mongers incriminate themselves. Do your research and keep it simple when you communicate. Where , when and how long. When looking at ads do a search for numbers and images. Reviews are great but a long history of posting is also a good sign. Hobby safe and find some regulars so you aren’t guessing.

I agree, but the key word missing is ''what''?

If your research is not close to perfect, ''what'' can be a major variable, and a deal killer if full knowledge was known upfront.

So many ads are coy about the offering. Providers should be more direct. If an ad is properly presented, ''where, when and how long'' is all that's necessary.

Yes, of course.
But our options to post "legal" ads is diminishing.
Some providers just take it to private email and such .... so as not to be "tagged".

Reality is ... there are certain levels of what you are seeking and what you are providing.
Some carry more of a gamble than others.

Hopefully, everyone knows that. The same is true for spouses, which is usually the bigger risk for married guys.

I think the point some of us are trying to make is to make yourself a smaller target. If someone on the other end is acting suspicious (like the RubMD ad I saw the other day where the “lady” was talking about how young she is), drop it like a hot potato and move on to the next one.
