I admit I am a connoisseur of foods in general. There have been few items I completely dislike. Generally I stay away from extremes however I do like to explore the palate in totality. Sushi is amazing, a good steak or better yet veal in a nice Portobello sauce. The veal at 801 chophouse is so delectable I feel as if it is almost an erotic experience eating it. Various fruits, French food, though rich, usually never fails to tantalize.

To sum up, I like to eat. A pity food refuses to be nicer to my waist line.

I love Tex-Mex, Cajun and BBQ. I have been known to grill a pretty good steak too. BUT I have never seen a baked potatoe that was worth dying for, no matter what its stuffed with. I am sure that yours are pretty good though.

Nothing better than exotic treats. I love to feed the ladies rocky mountain oysters and not tell them what they are till they have stuffed some down.

A perfectly ripe Asian Pear.
Port Wine Foie Gras Pate.
Bellavitano Balsamic Cheese.
Popcorn with truffle oil and sea salt.
Chocolate Eclairs but they must be filled with pastry cream and not pudding or whipped cream.

Yeah....it's time to go to Whole Foods.

Where to begin?

Steak tartare, beef carpaccio, foie gras, roasted bone marrow, BC oysters, drunken clams, king crab legs, quail, ostrich....

Anything pushing the envelope of my pallet and imagination gets my vote!

Where to begin? I love modern French cuisine, farm-to-table simplicity and exploring new culinary experiences from all around the world. Sometimes, the most satisfying item is a beautiful baguette and Normandy butter or a perfectly made tortilla from freshly ground corn or a poached egg on top of freshly made pasta and good olive oil. If we are true connoisseurs, we should appreciate fine flavors in in cuisines that are refined or rustic. In the words of Brillat-Savarin: "Animals fill themselves, man eats. The man of mind alone knows how to eat."

I love brisket, bbq ribs, pretty much any meat that can be smoked - aka real Texas barbecue, not just grill marks. I love a good THICK sauce - on the side ( sorry North Carolina ). Eva Damita Don Diva Meat Eater can be applied in more than one way...hehehehe.
