Velshi isn't intentionally distorting history, but it's hard to imagine why he, or any of the chattering class, would not be better prepared to give such a lecture on national TV.

UPDATE: Al Sharpton, on his show tonight, gave his seal of approval for MSNBC to apologize. Sharpton says he believes Romney deserved the apology because he has also been a "victim" of half-truths.

Well Al "approved" an apology! It was only a half-truth not a full-truth.
