I love this quote: President Obama "obviously likes giving speeches more than he does running the executive branch," Chris Matthews said tonight.
Well, that would appear to be true. More here: http://www.politico.com/blogs/media/...ma-164095.html

Boy, Chris is sounding upset! Imagine, Chris Mathews with more integrity than than the statists who post here.
MSNBC host Chris Matthews criticized President Obama for his mishandling of recent scandals, including the IRS targeting conservative groups.
CHRIS MATTHEWS: He does run the IRS. He runs the Treasury Department. He runs the United States government, and he is accountable for it, and this is nonsensical.

Fluffy, if you are speaking of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, please do your research. First, I do not support either war, or any of the others Bush and Obama have tried to start.
Secondly, Obama continued BOTH wars, even though he promised not to. He did not want to leave Iraq at the time we did, but he was forced to comply with the time frame negotiated by Bush. Afghanistan is still going on. Are you saying it is ok to kill civilians when a Democrat orders it, but not ok when a Republican orders it?
I have an idea. Let's not kill civilians, or get involved in undeclared wars. Regardless of party.

You're trying to play "gotcha", but you've got the wrong guy. I opposed Bush and Cheney from the start. If Scooter did what they say he did, of course they are responsible.
The only President I have supported at the beginning of his term, since I can remember, has been Obama. I really thought he was going to be different. LOL! He isn't. Same old same old. Politics as usual, only Obama turned out to be more corrupt than his predecessors.

COF, You are the one who has the facts mixed up. Obama voted no for the Iraq war. Obama has brought troops home from Iraq. It's true he has left some troops their to keep the peace. They aren't doing any major military operations in Iraq. Yes, Obama did the surge in AG, that is where Al-quaida is. Al-quaida is responsible for 9/11, so that is where the troops should be. There is no link to Al-quaida in Iraq. You can't equate Bush and Obama here. It is as different as "Operation Wide Receiver and operation Fast and Furious". Right IBH?

If you remember your history, Fluffy, Obama was trying to extend the time we spent in Iraq beyond the time frame negotiated by Bush. Obama wanted to STAY in Iraq. He was FORCED out by the Iraqis. As my friend Whirly would say, "Fact, Jack".
Sorry, Fluffy. You've been exposed as an Obamaton. Truth is irrelevant, as long as your guy is in power. Obama depends on the ignorance of people like you to remain in power.

COF, no we are playing lets be consistant. So you say Bush and Cheney are responsible for Scooter Libby, well Scooter went to jail. Bush and Cheney did not. So to be consistant, the head of the IRS was fired, the people who handled security decisions in Bengazi were reassigned and one resigned. The ATF agents in Arizona who were in charge of Fast and Furious were reassigned. You can't have it both ways. Bush and Cheney were responsibe for Scooter and they walked. Try to spin that.

They shouldn't have walked. They should be in jail for many more important things than Scooter Libby. Rumsfeld should be with them.
We can't keep letting criminal politicians walk. It has to stop. But it won't, thanks to people like you. Bush robs a bank, and doesn't get caught. Cheney robs a bank, and doesn't get caught. So, by your logic, we should let Obama rob a bank, because the two prior thieves didn't get caught.
Spin that.

Let's stick to the issue. The issue is when an underling way down in the organization chart screws up, should the boss be fired as well or in the case of Scooter Libby, go to jail. You say the boss should get the same punishment. Well that's fine, but you can't treat one president different than the other. Bush and Cheney walked with the Scooter Libby case, so Obama should walk with IRS thing. I have always said you have to be consistant, like when Bush raised the debt ceiling 8 times, you did not hear from Grover Norquist then. Your example with the robbing banks is just being silly. You sure you use to teach at the college level?
