Well if you want the truth, it is all very archaic how we human beings work and those who don't believe in evolution are going to have to just go with "God created us this way so we would survive".

Men are trying to go out and get laid to procreate, it is essential to survival and the very thought of this makes men go crazy and the realization of it, even in the form of emulation calms them down. There is no way a lot of men can feel satisfied unless they have the illusion in their minds that they are successfully passing on another generation of their genetic material.

On the flip side women being a bit more frail (sorry feminists but there is at least ONE time of the month and maybe 9 other months here and there where you are a sitting duck in a non modernized world) are concerned about security. The women want to be able to survive an attack from a sabertooth tiger, to have food provided for her and her offspring, and wealth in modern times creates the illusion of the provider while not so much the protector... .the modern government does that whole protector thing for them.

Essentially, everybody is thinking like cave people and running on autopilot at virtually all times. So what do women actually want? Security.

Men want to reproduce and feel validated by their ability to provide and protect, a woman fulfills all of this. A woman wants to be provided for and protected so she isn't going to be mauled by a grizzly out in the woods while she is 9 months pregnant trying to cut firewood.

It is all archaic thought working in our subconscious mind, nothing more or less.
