in your signature style you have missed all points again

not only did you slough off any consideration of the assault on the constitution
you misplace any fault by shruggingly and idiotically blaming congress

responding to your ever thoughtless posts is quite otiose but....

congress did act..they shelved the harry reid/senate bill

that is action

much the same as when harry reid shelved the hundreds of bills congress sent him

the real fault lies with Obama

no one trusts him..he is unworthy of the placement of trust

some "comprehensive" bill would see only selective execution by Obama

every thinking person knows it

any border security portion would be re-defined by Obama and his minions into some unrecognizable molly coddling or ignored

Obama should be impeached and convicted of high crimes and misdemeanors

Initially I thought impeachment should be off the table....but not any longer. Our ruling class didn't take an oath that swore to uphold their right to be re-elected; they swore to uphold the constitution.

The GOP should draft articles of impeachment; if public opinion moves against them, so be it. I don't think it will. The GOP should stop obsessing about winning the White House back in 2016. Restore the balance of power to Congress and the White House doesn't become so all important.

That's why the Senate bill wasn't picked up by Boehner. He and other Republicans (even those who voted for the bill in the Senate) expressed great concern that the bill would be selectively enforced - effectively gutting it of the key provisions that enabled it to pass with bipartisan support.

Personally, I think conservative voters should give up on any expectation of trying to win the presidency. Focus on winning local and state wide elections. AND getting rid of GOP leadership in Washington !
It's been that way for decades.

So what's the end game then? HOR drafts articles of impeachment and then there's close to a party line vote (maybe) in the Senate. You turn on the TV every day to see the major media incriminate the Republicans as being racist. Then in 2016 you lose the House, Senate and WH. Wakeup.

Time for better tactics. The only way to move America more to the right is incrementalism and a stronger media hand. Once (if) the House, Senate and Presidency turns back to the Republicans you can implement more conservative fiscal policies. HOWEVER, if the Republicans start insisting on banning abortions and implementing more conservative social policies you are not going to get anything accomplished.

I agree 100% and that is what is happening across the country - incremental steps in the right direction. From local to state elections the GOP is becoming more conservative and more constitutionally minded. Even in Congress there are more TP minded serving that before. It is happening incrementally. And currently there are more and better conservative media driving the agenda than five years ago. In the meantime, the reverse is true for liberals. CNN, MSNBC, broadcast is declining. Not so for the conservative media - cable, internet, publishing.

The number of state houses and governor seats that are controlled by the GOP - many of them TP conservatives - is higher than anytime in our country's history !

To table impeachment makes no sense; the GOP brand is winning all across the country. The shutdown didn't hurt the GOP ONE IOTA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't believe the bullshit coming out of the silk stocking (Bush Family - Chamber of Commerce) wing of the GOP.

Our "Constitutional Scholar" president has one of the worse track records of being constitutional - very fitting for the most phony of all presidents.

Right now ... it is ruled "unconstitutional' .... page 22 of the opinion.

Cuba is his latest tyranny.

Missouri high school students are taking a hit because of the Mad Boy-Kings executive order (which he hasn't signed yet). They have a program that a high school graduate with a 2.5 minimum average can get a scholarship for a community college in Missouri. Now that Obama has issued his memorandum that makes all the illegals in Missouri high schools (if they say that they are living in Missouri) eligible for the same program. So now the program is being cutback for lack of funding.
