I'm not defending China. I don't give two shits where the virus originated. Blaming China or Trump will not make the virus go away. If you think it will, you need to work on your priorities.

Well Lapper, that is so profound. To find treatments and vaccines it would be helpful to establish the origins of the virus. Thus far, indications are that it originated in Wuhan China. And the Commies haven’t been open to let scientists in to find out what happened. So yes, people can blame those fuckers for that.

If the Chinese are not being put in a defensive position because of blame on the world stage, they may be more receptive to being helpful. Again, I am not defending China. I'm just pointing out that laying blame is counterproductive to achieving goals, unless your goal is to feel superior.

Yes you are defending China. they've never been helpful before and certainly weren't here as i'm sure you know by now they hid this for over a month, probably longer. they allowed international travel from Wuhan for weeks that allowed this to spread. SO BLAME CHINA!

oh and China's "help" isn't worth shit anyway.

China has sold nearly 4 billion masks to foreign countries in the past month and is ramping up production, even as some nations have questioned the quality of the medical supplies, according to a report.

So yeah .. let's be "nice" to China so they "help" us.

What a bunch of complete bullshit. But, that post doesn’t surprise most people in this forum. Treat China like a spoiled child. No consequences for lying. Must have been that way when you were “growing” up.

it's not so much Trump as the World. China will take a huge hit for this one way o the other. they could very well lose their unearned "world nation" status and should.

China earns their downfall and the World now knows for certain (as if they didn't before) to not trust China. China .. the CCP ..may very well collapse over this. what they get in short term by "accident" is an end to the HK riots where they were on the verge of putting them into a "lethal force" scenario which today unlike Tienanmen Square days cannot be hidden now. too many satellites and cell phones despite the "Great Firewall".

despite being able to reset their house of cards shit economy propped up by the CCP to known disadvantage of foreign companies and markets they do so at risk of now being ostracized as they should be for this fuckup. and that's if you accept the fact that it was a lab accident.

or not.

As much as I'd like to believe how that would play out, I think there is too much anti-American sentiment and political correctness around the world for such a global movement to happen, even with the amount of deaths and economic damage this has caused. America talks about lawsuits and the CCP just laughs because they know they have the majority of the world's leaders in their pockets.

On a somewhat related note, have you been noticing how China is now starting to publicly court Saudi Arabia (long-time US ally) directly as a trade partner...co-incidentally right after that Saudi-Russian oil price "war" may have permanently damaged domestic US Oil production? Various world organizations have been planning for years how to create a world order without America being at the front. I think the coming years, we are going to start to see all that effort bear much more fruit, especially now that we have elected US officials openly calling for such a transition.
