I dreamed of it too and just invested my money wisely because I wanted the best for my clients and still have the privacy of my own home. I do not and will not ever work when my kids are home.

Ok so hypothetically you do get busted at your house... If you have kids and they live there I'm very sure they wouldn't be for much longer. And just because you use a different section of your house doesn't mean guys can't go psycho and stalk you or whatever they decide. Country girl I'd serioiusly look into a location away from your house IMO that's the safest thing a provider could do

Never said that couldn't happen Bailey, any person can go psycho male or female .. weather it be at my house or hotel it doesn't matter there's risk with this any way you look at it.. And as I said there are never any kids around period when I work. They are with my parents and live 30 minutes away from me in a very safe unseductive living environment. When I started my business I had a very well thought out business plan to make this work for myself and family.
Thanks,
Lindsay

Lol ok keep believing you have it all figured out... No provider does. I know a provider who did incalls at her house for over 10 years got busted while her kids were off for the summer with dad. Needless to say they didn't get to come back. But I'm totally not trying to help the girl to asked for advice lol I'm not going to argue about this stupid subject I gave my advice I hope country girl understands I'm just giving my honest opinion to help her best in the business

From a client's perspective, my 1st choice would be a ladies home, mainly as this seems the best way to avoid LE involvement, i.e.. ladies who work out of hotels too much may become too well known, especially if they see a lot of people.
However, I understand most ladies reluctance to work from home for reasons already stated here. I think a hotel can be fine, IF the lady switches them around, keeps an eye out for alerts such as posted here which may tip her off which areas are hot and tries not to be too high volume.
Countrygirl, if you plan on doing this for awhile, maybe you can look into an affordable rental, either an apartment, home, duplex etc.. You are close to Grandview and I'm sure decent places can be rented there. Maybe you can develop a partnership with another provider and share the cost of the rental.
You seem like you have a good head on your shoulders and it seems that you're approaching this business in the right way. Your personal safety is your 1st priority of course but whatever incall you have, the main thing you have to do is avoid attracting attention to yourself and your clients. Find the best way to conduct your business and follow all the safety guidelines you can learn and you should do fine no matter where you work.

No where in my post did I say I have it all figured out and if thats what you got out of me saying that i thought out my business plan before I started this than sorry for the that you misinterpreted it that way. trust and believe me when I say this its all a learning experience for all us providers and hobbyists .. I know to always be on my toes and to never get to comfortable with this business cause at any time it could end....

Tori, all good advise and a lot to digest. Whatever you decide to do, first and foremost ' be safe'.

Now that is a question best answered by the ladies... they are the ones that have to stay there longer then an hour or two.

Great thread with good information!
I prefer residential homes/apt over hotels. For whatever reason I still get a bit nervous doing the walk past the front desk unless the hotel is upscale. The few ladies I've had a regular thing with all hosted in their own places. I like it that way because the atmosphere feels more comfortable and personal.

Pros: Cheaper, makes the clients feel more comfortable, no travel involved for the provider, your entire wardrobe is at hand for quick outfit changes.
Cons: Traffic, suspicious neighbors, possible stalker problems, if you have pets the clients may be allergic, lots of laundry involved, ie sheets, pillowcases, comforters, outfits.

This question would probably be best answered via PM.

VERY true indeed Bailey. There was another provider that got busted in her house while her kids were in school and they ended up in ppc and Im not sure what happened after that, but once the state gets involved and there are kids involved everything gets investigated and kids are simply leverage to make the le jobs easier. Just be careful who you take advice from country girl. And keep in mind its only advice and its best to make your own decisions based on what you believe will work best for you.

So, dropping your kids off at your parents while you provide out of your garage is a well thought out plan huh....It sounds like common sense to me. I think you are over-doing the convincing act now Lindsay. All of your posts tell us how much money you spend to make your business safe and how thought out your business plan is and blah-blah-blah When actually, its free to play safe and nobody has it figured out when they first start. 8 yrs later and Im still learning shit. smh

What do you think she's talking about? She is running a hair salon in her garage and has three chairs. Ring twice and come on in, pick up a magazine or call ahead. She will be out soon to do your bangs.
