I am usually way to busy to notice what's playing, except maybe when I first come in.

I do like it when the music is not too loud (which it hasn't been on any appointments I've had in a long time) because I like all the little sounds made during the encounter and find them a turn-on, so music is fine as long as it doesn't cover that up too much.

One hotel chain I have been frequenting has this white noise machine at the bedside. I love to turn that bad boy on to the thunderstorm rain and thunder sound instead of playing any music. I find it adds a nice background noise without being distracting at all.
