Law and order is not gunning people down at a Nordstrom with high volume "30 round mags"! California has done this to itself. Defending police and letting criminals go is their fault.

California certainly is a shit hole of a State. What you fail to see is that people have free will if they use it to commit crime that's on them not the State of California. These people don't deserve a free pass because of their economic status besides if they are too poor to shop at Nordstrom's they can always shop at Dollar Tree or Family Dollar stores they sell school supplies too at lower prices. They shouldn't have to resort to stealing at a higher priced store.

Default Missed another one in LA

Dang-nabbit! I missed the Pre-Going Out of Business Sale at Nike in LA yesterday. Actually, it was a rather low key event. Graduates of the John Madden pillaging training camp: Practice, Practice, Practice perhaps? It was very different from the carnival atmosphere in the below from the Summer of Love, May 2020. Those rascal kids...

Pop Quiz: What unusual thing do you spot at the very beginning and again at the 17 second mark?
Hint: One of these things is not like the others.

Meanwhile, back in San Francisco, federal w workers have been told to work from home instead of going to their office space at the Nancy Pelosi building down town . . .because it is not safe for them to make the trip.

There has to be a certain “poetic Justice” involved with it being too dangerous to show up at The Nancy Pelosi building.

Re "Looting":

Back in the mid 1970s, I worked with a young woman (I was young then too) who had survived a direct hit from Hurricane Camile on the Mississippi gulf coast. At the time of the hurricane, she was 5 years old or younger. She and her family had spent a terrifying night in the attic of a relative's house on higher ground as the storm surged water rose to fill 2/3 of the first floor before receding.

She had this vague memory of returning to site of their own home only to find a twisted pipes sticking out of a broken slab.

Another vague memory was to be with her Mom and Dad picking through the wreckage of a grocery store looking for food.

The folks who looted high end stores in LA, San Francico, Chicago and other cities are just thug-mobs by comparison.

Anyone remember the "roof-top Koreans" from the LA Riots back when?

Was that justified?

I remember how they organized to protect themselves and what was theirs when no law enforcement was around.

I don't know what the laws were back than. But when it happened here in my town not too long ago, I wished small business owners would have shot any looters in their stores.

... Just close up all the shoppes and move out.
Find a peaceful and serine place to live in a red state.
Open a business there... Townes can always use another Pub.
