The other reality is that cable news on the left has more outlets to choose from. Were Fox to get some competetion, their viewership would drop. I can't figure out for the life of me why that hasn't happened. I would love to see a cable outlet outmaneuver Fox to the right. Something like Tea Nut Central or Beck's new shit. Be a blast watching them compete for veiwers. At some point , Fox will be viewed by the Tea Nuts as liberal!

The reality is that the leftist publications are being abandoned by former readers.
In a very small sampling of former subscription holders, the reason for cancelling is the bias of the publication.
The left that does not read newsprint gets their information from comedy central and Honey Boo Boo or the kardashians.
