From the CDC web site,

FDA requires healthcare providers to report any death after COVID-19 vaccination to VAERS, even if it’s unclear whether the vaccine was the cause. Reports of adverse events to VAERS following vaccination, including deaths, do not necessarily mean that a vaccine caused a health problem.

In other words, health care workers are supposed to report ANY death after a person is vaccinated, not just deaths that they think resulted from the vaccine.

A total of 220 million Americans have received at least one dose of the vaccine. The population is of the USA is 330 million. the number of deaths per year in the USA is about 3 million. Assume that on average those vaccinated received the injections four months ago.

Doing the math, about 650,000 vaccinated Americans should have died already, based on the death rate in a typical year. But only 17,128 have croaked! The vaccine not only helps prevent COVID, it must keep people from dying from cancer, heart attacks, auto accidents, and everything else!

I'm going to celebrate and go out and get another Pfizer vaccine today. I haven't had one in over 2 weeks. As my wise Uncle Josh said, "A Vaccine a Day keeps the Grim Reaper Away." Or something like that.
