That's a very conservative guess. My guess is they make closer to 60k to 100k+, depending on age, work ethic, etc. Could even be more.
I can't show you proof, I don't have any. Here's my reasoning:

A place I like to frequent charges 60 house fee and 140 provider fee.
During a recent conversation with her, my ATF provider there mentioned she sees between 3-4 guys per day, 5-6 days a week. Granted, there are slow days, but she also mentioned some days she's seen as many as six guys, and sometimes works 7 days a week.

So, to make my point, let's just say she sees only 3 guys a day and works only 5 days a week (although she actually works 5-6 days and sometimes sees 4-5 guys a day).
That's 420 a day, and at just 5 days a week that's 2,100 per week, 8,400 per month. So, that's $100,800 per year.
Yes, there are vacations, slow days, personal days, etc where she doesn't work, but these are offset by very busy days, generous guys, tips, 6-day work weeks, etc, etc.
But if you don't like my math, then slash the numbers in half. That's still at least 50k a year. And I know they're making well over that.

Why don't everyday hotel providers flock to Amps then? Well, perhaps many of them make great money doing their own thing and prefer the hotel scenario. Others may simply prefer setting their own hours. Another possible reason would be that they simply refuse to accept the everyday accountability that is required to work at an Amp. Some hotel providers all too often exhibit lack of discipline, laziness, etc. Let's not forget "other" lifestyle habits which may prevent them from showing up at work everyday at 10am. And hold on...definately NOT putting ALL hotel providers in this category, but many are like this.
I just don't see this with the ladies that work at Amps.
Hotels vs Amps, is it a culture thing? Not sure.
Is it that Asians are often more disciplined and choose a different personal lifestyle than their hotel-going counterparts? Maybe...

This is patently false. I worked at a spa at one point in my adult work lifespan. House kept the door fee, I kept everything else.

I know of 3 ladies who have worked in spas to pay off a debt. Half of their earnings went to them and half went back to the spa as payments on their debts... both were free of their debt after about 18 months and kept all the money from that point on.

Asian spas are different than spas that primarily employee white and black providers. Did you work for an Asian spa off I-35? Exactly. Asian spa providers don't make what you made. Also, you weren't in debt to the spa owners for helping you immigrate to this country.
