Therefore you must believe that COG is incapable of squirming his way out of the corner he painted himself into.
If we did not know it before, we know it now. Birds of a feather flock together!!!!!

JD---Ok, now I get it! You figured you were the only one "dumb" enough to answer "a dumb question." You probably have a valid point! Since you jumped into the fray, why is asking COG to explain why he is ashamed to admit being a Republican immediately after attending a Republican caucus, "a dumb question?"
Personally, I can't blame COG. If I had just attended a Republican caucus I probably would not admit to it either!

My ECCIE Reviews
|
You know at the end of the day when all the bickering has been quieted and we sit down in our rooms, safe, and fed there is still one inescapable truth. A truth that thousands of people across America live with no matter what the reason was.
My brother is still dead. He will never come back. Why did he die? For what purpose? The answer will never come. Not really. And that is the ever present reality that exists outside the debate.
I won't get involved with this debate. I've no idea how to talk about it without feeling horribly cheated. How do the rest of you cope with a loss because of the war?

We were there for oil, anything else was just dressing.
People that think otherwise, think Sara Palin a smart person.

What a fucking crock of shit.
You can not say you are true conservative and alien yourself with the Christian Coalition. Conservatives , true conservatives do not involve themselves in the bedroom. They do not involve them self in abortion issues. They believe in personal freedom. That issue is a personal one. So when you two fuc'd in the head people say you are independents, you are lying sacs of shit. The whole Tea Party movement is a bunch of liars. They are not any better than the people they berate.

I no longer sit around and say nothing when people like Sara Palin and JD act as if Iraq attacked us. People that defend the thought process that we had to go to war , catch hell from me. They get no free pass.
Have you seen the "Pat Tillman Story" ? I highly recommend it.

So what do some of the people in this thread have to say about the fine young American troops who either died, severly injured, or suffer the trama of being in this War.
So many Americans are so quick to point out that we were justified in Iraq war. I'm guessing they probably had no one dear to them, go over there and fight.
Yea, people luv to talk about how we need to get involved in such affairs...of course, when you ask them how if they themselves, or son/daughter, etc are willing to go fight...they get quiet real quick
I realize that the chances for a true uniform Draft into military probably will never happen. But I firmly believe, that the amount of military conflicts we engage in, would drop drastically...if all the sudden perhaps you, your family or neighbors could be involve directly in conflict, we would not be so quick to send the troops over anywhere

NO, you are seriously dumber than dumb! That was the reason that the Neo-Cons invented after they crashed and burned with the reasons they used to lie to and fool America into going to war.
You old fool! Don't give me those turd-on-a-stick reasons they used AFTER they got caught lying! (WMD'S, met with al-Qaeda, Mushroom Clouds, Yellowcake Uranium, Centrifuges and the rest)
Every single one of those BASTARDS ought to be on trial for War Crimes! Bush, Cheney, Wolfowitz, Rice, Powell, Tenet, Rumsfeld, Gonzales, Ashcroft, Libby and the rest!)

The WMD Commission and the Butler report both indicate that the intelligence community was correct in suggesting that Saddam was probably seeking to re-arm his military forces with WMD. That conclusion is, in part, based on these known facts: 1) Saddam had had WMD in the past. 2) Saddam had strong incentives to reconstitute his arsenal. 3) He had the money to refinance such a reconstitution. 4) He had trained, competent technicians who could reconstitute his stockpile of WMDs. 5) He had the necessary materiel on hand to proceed with such a reconstitution. 6) He repeatedly stalled and deceived the inspectors—which begged the question—“What is he hiding?”

Amazing how even to this day...and within this post...folks continue to think we are the moral police of the world
I wonder if they would change their opinions, if it was them, family member or neighbor...who had to go into these situations
I'm thinking NOT!!!!

I B Hankering...then you have my respect. Does not stop me from disagreeing with ya..but you put your butt on the line...RESPECT!!!
However with most other folks, thier preaching becomes very shallow...when they personally have little invested into the process, thus
it becomes so much easier for them to "save the world" thinking
